They shall find out the true meaning of climate change.

If we want our kids to change, with porn or violence we need to change what is prolific on the "Boob-tube" as my father used to call it. Referring to stupidity not breasts. For the first time I can agree with what you wrote. The millennials will be moving up into positions of power real soon now, and they are not disciplined enough, not educated enough, and are usually rather lazy, not having to toe the mark their whole teen years, so we are in for a difficult time going forward. Dumbing down the kids is one of Gramsci's first orders of business to turn a nation over to communism.

All too true. I work and talk to many business owners. Another big problem with today's millennials, they can't take criticism. Hell they can't take constructive criticism. Subject to walk out if their little feelings get hurt. We are in big trouble down the road.

Sorry Buck, the economic delay is 6 to 9 months, not 2-3 years. And that relates to federal stimuli suck as tax cuts and money infusions such as Quantitative Easing. Stimuli that Trump has given us can have positive effects much faster. Even before Trump took office, he worked to stop movement of major businesses from America to offshore locations, and he convinced others to return to America. In fact, Trump's election win convinced many businesses to ramp up operations on the promise of a return to Laissez faire - substantial reductions in federal regulations. This is particularly significant in the energy industry. Coal production jumped almost immediately. This rapid reaction in the business community was reflected in the huge run-up in stock prices after the election as the market anticipated great economic times to come.

Buck, the great things that are happening in business, jobs, and the stock market are due to Trump. I'm sorry if that upsets you, but it is true.

1) What stimuli has Trump provided for the economy. 2) What companies did he convince no to leave 3) What companies has talked into coming back--and why would anyone else come back when neither he nor Ivanka will bring back their own companies? As for coal production--2017 was behind 2016 which was behind 2015 which was behind 2014 and so on and so forth--so forgive me if I don't get too excited about coal production increasing "almost instantly." The reason coal production was down was because demand for coal was down and contrary to popular belief it's demand that drives the production of all types of energy in this country. No demand, there is no reason to increase production unless of course you like paying fees for storing it and then cutting your prices in order to sell it. As for your stock market claim--in doing a search "stock market, Obama vs Trump" only one article on the first page sided with stock market performing better under Trump.

Now I will give you that business would rather have Trump as president than Obama but the myth that the economy is performing better than it would under Obama--well besides the fact that there isn't enough data available to tell--other than exercise his mouth--Trump has done little to give business reason to increase production or increase the rate at which they are hiring and if demand doesn't increase please tell me why cutting taxes is going to cause anyone to increase production, hire people they weren't going to hire anyway, or more importantly--increase their employees wages--all things that Trump and his mighty mouth have promised...

Oh, and one more thing--why would you bring back your business if the president and his own daughter won't bring back their businesses?

I’m sorry you don’t know sarcasm when you see/read it. I call the President, “Trumpet” because he’s always “blowing his own horn.” Also, just like your typical mindless conservative, all you can do is throw-back insults instead of facts to back-up you claims. Tell me “E,” just how much do you know about the economy, it’s causes and affects. From your posts on the thread, it seems you, too, lack a whole lot, knowing even a little bit about anything. All you do is parrot the insults your Russian handlers post.

Unlike you, I’m a 66 year -old man who believes I’ve experienced and grown-up enough to make logical comments, based on known facts, derived from my own, independent research. I don’t rely on just ultra-Reich-wing sources or liberal sources to tell me what’s occurring in the world, either. I use sources that are shown to be politically neutral in their reporting. Have you ever heard of the Associated Press or Reuters News Service? How about the “Congressional Record?” They’re a lot more accurate than Fox to Breitbart and far less political in their coverage. While you, on the other hand, seem to only make insults and innuendo you primary mode of communication. I’ve yet to read where you show any facts or proof of your comments.

If either of us needs to “grow-up,” it’s you. Your continued use of insults and innuendo are indicative of a child’s mental response when faced with situations they can’t immediately figure out. It’s their “go-to” intellectual and emotional defense mechanism. As such, you must “mentally” still be a child. However, seeing as I doubt that you’ve ever been diagnosed as mentally disabled, I’m not knocking the truly, mentally disabled. They can’t help having the condition they’re forced to live with. You, on the other-hand, can improve yourself by researching topics, using politically neutral sources. You’ll be amazed to learn just to how much B.S. you’ve been fed over the years.

Now, run along, E. I believe I hear your mama calling you. It’s time for your nap.

While your insults on E are fascinating you havent shown any prove of the opposite.....At 66 you should be more wiser then insulting people yourself....As for economy look at the facts unemployment is at all time low i believe its 4.1%, more people spending their money shopping this year then this time last year,so just this little fact should show you that economy is on the rise, not to mention that Dow is at all time record high...now its almost 25000..And please dont tell me that its Obamy doing...Have a nice day,Alabuck...

His economics are solid, except for the jobs gained. Nobody has that right, yet. Maybe if he would stop the childish "Trumpet," referring to Mr. Trump, the President of the United States, you, "E," and others like you, might take him seriously and the insults would stop. Where does he get his statistics from, anyway? He should cite his references.

Now there is a lot of sense to that. When someone insults our President, those that like him, or at least voted for him have, a right to strike back. And yes, references would be nice. Especially if they don't come from a known leftist biased site.

cheers

Where did you get that 4.1% was an all time low for unemployment? Under Clinton it got as low as 3.2% but, remember, Obama passed it off at 4.7% so it's not like Trump has performed any kind of miracles--he simply played golf while it continued doing what it was already doing. As for the stock market read my reply to EconDon--nothing the stock market is doing is above and beyond what it was doing under Obama. I understand you guys need to pump up Trump but if you are going to do it why not try doing it with some truth instead of alternative facts supplied by Fox News...

So references should come from a right wing biased site? Personally I prefer that they are true over the bias of the site they come from...

I’m sorry you don’t know sarcasm when you see/read it. >>> I know sarcasm. I use it myself, often when seeing a continuous stream of cheap insults by so many well known hacks on here.
Also, just like your typical mindless conservative, all you can do is throw-back insults instead of facts to back-up you claims. >>> You don't know $hit about me. I do research a lot and I back it up with common sense derived good principles and practices from a lifetime of using logic to resolve problems.
Tell me “E,” just how much do you know about the economy, it’s causes and affects. >>> I don't have all day to educate you on all I know on the economy. From your posts on the thread, it seems you, too, lack a whole lot, knowing even a little bit about anything. All you do is parrot the insults your Russian handlers post. >>> See, there is one of your own cheap shots you are trying to criticize me for. Russian handlers? What the F--- are you talking about. And If I had any, I would trust them more then your Soros sources.

Unlike you, I’m a 66 year -old man who believes I’ve experienced and grown-up enough to make logical comments, based on known facts, derived from my own, independent research. Unlike you, I thought I knew it all when I was a kid like you. But I've learned a lot in the last 11 years, mostly under the last president and observing his mistakes to know that you are still reading the first chapter.
I don’t rely on just ultra-Reich-wing sources or liberal sources to tell me what’s occurring in the world, either. >>> But probably a whole lot of George Soros and his ilk.
I use sources that are shown to be politically neutral in their reporting. >>> As you personally have determined I suppose.
Have you ever heard of the Associated Press or Reuters News Service? How about the “Congressional Record?” >>> Yes, I've heard of them. What is your point?
They’re a lot more accurate than Fox to Breitbart and far less political in their coverage. >>> Sorry to disappoint you but I never listen to Fox News or Breitbart. And unlike you I really don't watch Television either.
While you, on the other hand, seem to only make insults and innuendo you primary mode of communication. I’ve yet to read where you show any facts or proof of your comments. >>> The record is there. Go read it.

If either of us needs to “grow-up,” it’s you. Your continued use of insults and innuendo are indicative of a child’s mental response when faced with situations they can’t immediately figure out. >>> No they are calculated to show those who appear to be biased hate filled buffoons and calling them out for that.
It’s their “go-to” intellectual and emotional defense mechanism. As such, you must “mentally” still be a child. >>> Actually your attacks against me are coming off as the child in this discussion. Nasty and vindictive.
However, seeing as I doubt that you’ve ever been diagnosed as mentally disabled, >>> Bingo.
I’m not knocking the truly, mentally disabled. They can’t help having the condition they’re forced to live with. You, on the other-hand, can improve yourself by researching topics, using politically neutral sources. You’ll be amazed to learn just to how much B.S. you’ve been fed over the years. >>> And I'm sure that you could also take advantage of your own advice.

Now, run along, E. I believe I hear your mama calling you. It’s time for your nap. >>> I doubt that, sonny. More likely your mommy blowing her favorite Trumpet. Meanwhile you need to put down your own Trumpet, hop into bed, open mouth and insert thumb and maybe more of your dreams might turn into realities. But somehow I hope not.
