What is your point? Liberals only want democracy if they can be in the majority. That's why we are a republic, not a pure democracy where the majority would be able to run roughshod over the minority party. Too many people were misinformed by our biased media into adopting the twisted Democrat view of Reaganomics (supply-side economics), never once mentioning that JFK originally justified and proposed that economic plan in December of 1962 at the New York Economic Club.

Reagan, in working with the Democrat-controlled Congress to pass his economic plan, secured a promise from the Democrats to cut $1 in spending for every $1 increase in revenue to the treasury resulting from those tax decreases. Instead of reducing spending as promised, the Democrat Congress went on a spending spree. Where tax reductions produced $1.73 to $2.88 in increased revenue (averaging $2.31) over projections from the original tax scheme, Democrats INCREASED spending by anywhere from $2.57 to $3.88 for every new dollar in increased revenue (averaging $3.23). This orgy of spending or "Party" as the Democrats and media called it, resulted in huge deficits which were then blamed on the Republican tax plan, or Reaganomics. The rightful blame is still missing from popular perception today.

It will be painful (for government) but we can dig our way out of this $20 Trillion sink hole of government debt if we reduce the size of government AND decrease taxes. It would help if they would make people individually responsible for their own economic circumstances the way it was 70 years ago, too.
