I think they're the ones that want to stop private schools.

quote=CounterRevolutionary]Desparado, let's take our toys to the sandbox and play dump-truck.

You want to start a recycling company to cook up all the floating plastic crap polluting the planet. You want to cleanup your home town of Timbucktoo first.

You are a small businessman and need four dump-trucks at $250,000 each, totaling $1 million dollars to start up your business. It has taken you ten years wages at 25% tax to save up $1 million dollars and along comes the IRS with its Progressive tax, now raising your taxes to 40% because you are now a millionaire.

But you want to expand your business to include Kalamazoo, and must now work another 20 years to buy the next four dump-trucks because of the progressive tax increased to 40%.

The Progressive tax is really slowing your efforts to expand your business.

You'd also like to create a factory to melt down the plastic and manufacture park benches, but that dream will never materialize, so you must sell your plastic to the Chinese.

Meanwhile, over those next 20 years, the Federal Reserve bank has devalued the currency, raising the cost of a dump-truck to $500,000. You are never going to get out of Timbucktoo.

Do you see how Karl's Marx's Progressive Tax and government central bank have destroyed our free market capitalism? Small companies, no matter how necessary for the advancement of humanity, cannot expand and grow their business due to these structural flaws in the socialist market place designed by Karl Marx. Karl Marx has destroyed the middle class. So we live in slums of mounting garbage.

What do you think communism is really all about? It is keeping the working poor on the government plantation, creating a two class society between government fat cats and the working poor.
I certainly aggree with you on small business but ... (show quote)

marx had nothing to say about the comments you post..

the personal savings are not what is used for business startups or expansions.. A small part of you own capital is needed to start up, but a successful business can always find funding. Usually quite easily.. that is what Banks do, lend money to those who show they can pay it back..

The progressive tax has nothing to do with that procedure..

You bet he is. Trump exists for flattery and praise. That's how the Saudis and Chinese played him like a piano; they dumped praise and uber-extravagant ceremony on him and he melted--and STILL brags about it. He had no idea they were laughing at him.

Mike,

So far, I would say the only ones paying are American farmers and ag business.

when the orange scab, ran his mouth about the NAFTA agreement and the wall, Mexico did not sit and pout..

they replaced deals with the United States By getting the crops and food stuffs from Brazil, Argentina, and even China..

Our country has seen our farm prices plummet and that is now effecting local town and business as well as packing plants and food exports..

Did you notice the super cheap turkeys for turkey day? How much of that price do you think the farmer managed to get?

I agree. It is possible to get a lot done on the golf course...with Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods. That number I cited is a blog noting every extravagance of Trump. The possible good that ill-spent money could do instead for Veterans and children in Snap is enormous. Meals On Wheels for seniors would be fully backed, But Trump cut all of these programs.

Really? Actually I am a little peon like you, the only difference is that I think the Koch brothers are simply charming, handsome, and extremely philanthropic, helping hospitals, the Tea Party, and colleges like the Cato Institute teach economics for free to the poor.

Remember, the Koch brothers get their money from their customers; you don't want their money, you want their customers, that is unless you are a criminal or want to hire the government as a state sanctioned pickpocket of the rich, whereas you will never see a penny of it.

Do you remember when Congress created Obamacare and the President created 159 new bureaucracies on how to enforce it? Today the cost of Obamacare averages $10,000/year and is going up, up, up.

People like the Koch brothers are economically insulated from what affects almost everyone else. They don't care about the money part of it.

Permafrost, you could not be more wrong. The vast majority of American enterprises are "pass throughs," (filing a tax Form C for small business) some 28 million enterprises, about 80% of the economy, compared to the Fortune 500. These small businessmen scrounge to save their own money for start-up capital, many times not taking a salary for years for themselves, just to maintain a workforce.

You have to understand, that with the Federal Reserve Bank setting interest rates to less than 1%, they have killed off 2000 small banks and credit unions that loan to small businessmen. The Big banks, too big to fail, have grown even bigger under Dodd-Frank; these banks loan billions of dollars to the Federal and State governments that are trillions of dollars in debt and favoring the Fortune 500, not to the 28 million private industries which they deem too big a risk!

This is how corporate cronyism is facilitated by the government, this corporate fascism making it virtually impossible for the little guy to compete in a free market. This is Karl Marx's progressive tax system and central banking system at work, destroying small business and merging big business with the government - aka "centralized planning."
