How about if you post some facts instead of your own opinions? Wow! What a thought, huh?

Sooooo........you want everyone to follow along with your hypotheticals, and get your feelings hurt when they don't? Am I getting warmer, or colder here?

I offered him a fair and respectful discussion when he complained that no one would argue facts with him and I never heard back.

But you are complaining on how put upon my post had you feel. If you made no comment, then no feeling "put upon." Oops!

There is a difference between a complaint and an observation; one that has obviously eluded you for decades.

I would be happy to disprove your facts; in the unlikely event you ever post any.

Okay, now we are getting somewhere. It is President Trump personally who would deny the visa? Although, historically emigration and visa limits go back to the establishment of our Nation. If you recall, 1932 President Hoover and the State Department essentially shut down immigration during the Great Depression as immigration went from 236,000 in 1929 to 23,000 in 1933. Perhaps you are ignoring that he coerced repatriation and deported of between 500,000 and 2 million Mexican Americans, mostly citizens, in the Mexican Repatriation.

You may also be forgetting that Obama placed a ban in 2011 and then muddied the water with his “Visa Waiver Program Improvement and Terrorist Travel Prevention Act” in 2015. So, a temporary ban on countries who breed and train terrorist is the reason your savior would not be able to enter the US?

Each nation has not only the right but the responsibility to not only limit visas but to restrict emigration depending on the needs of its citizens. We do not hear about it much, but you should look up the laws in Austria. People who plan to stay longer than 24 months must sign an Integration Agreement, a process designed to enhance their German-language skills and ability "to participate in the social, economic and cultural life in Austria." And then there is Germany, Japan, and Switzerland. All REQUIRE that the individual speak the language, pass a competency test, and sign an agreement of assimilation besides having personal finance at their immediate disposal to carry them through the first 2 years while waiting to have their case reviewed. Imagine how irate you would be if we decided, as a nation, to require all applicants to provide such credentials and prof of specie? Instead, our President looks to only keep out those who are criminals or want to commit acts of terrorism.

If Jesus were to ask for a visa, then he would not be the one you await. This gets into scripture and I am sure that is not the direction you wanted this thread to go.

The point that has been lost and not addressed: tRump would deny Jesus a visa or revoke his visa status, as per his provisos.

Okay, now we are getting somewhere. It is Preside... (show quote)

"our President looks to only keep out those who are criminals or want to commit acts of terrorism." That is an absolute lie. If it wasn't, the Saudis would be banned.

Unreal, you are a true genius of belittling. Can't respond. If i Object, I look defensive and ergo guilty, or small, as you appear to offer a left-handed Olive Branch. If I do not, I concede your points. Brilliant! No, sorry, have to say "Wow!" Stunning post in its depraved attack on me so expertly masked in a white flag and friendship.

Way back when you sent me personal reassurances of friendship and loving advice while you viciously attack me in the forum. Since then, I have marveled at your perfect evil spirit. Psychopath is an insult to psychopaths. You do not and never have forgiven anyone of anything. You always get your revenge, even if it looks like kindness.

To the contrary, rumi~~ You endeavor to attack with justification that it is not an attack but an ad hominem fact .. Calling it by another name is still an attack...

As for Penny, I am proof of a relationship that started out not so nice and in time grew to admiration and respect. I allowed one incident to see a person that truly is not as I thought or as you throw out here..

She is a formidable debater that has excellent writing skills and leaves little to challenge...

Perhaps you recognize this in Penny and that is what puts you on the defense.??

You keep bringing up the past as if something is unfinished?? Why not drop the past and work towards a better future in debating etc with Penny. Or simply ignore her posts and nothing to be upset over later, right??

You claim victimization while you then parade under a false pretense so you may attack or attempt demoralization of the one you are directing your condensending “ comments”..
Do you really think people can not see this, Rumi???

Why is it even needed??

It's all in the moniker. Take out the first for letters, and add a northeastern accent when you say it.
We say it different in Texas.

How do you know they are not??

President Trump had a favorable ruling By the Supreme Court who refused to hear but did Vacate The fourth district courts ruling of the judge.

The revised order Trump made has not be released, claimed as privileged and does not lay out which countries will go through a strong vetting process before being allowed in ....

So I’ll ask, what do you know of the Saudi’s not being on the list??

Saudi Arabia have come a long way, but they are not friends of America. We share common interest but do not share common values or world views. It is well known that Saudi Arabia has some strict exit requirements even if you are a citizen of another country to include the US. During this year only 88 people have applied for any kind of visa to enter the US from Saudi... I think we have sufficient law enforcement to keep an eye on them. However, during Obama's presidency there was an influx of more than 4,8000 Syrian refugees that were admitted into country without oversight or investigation.

You are so right about Penny. Her reason and logic are unsurpassed, and yet she welcomes disagreement if done so on a logical basis. I too had a rough start with her, often misreading her point, but understanding what she had in mind upon rereading her posts. My first encounters with Rumi led me to believe he was a lonely man and for some reason very sad, and that he needed friends. apparently he had recently lost a dear friend who was like a brother to him, and the loss was devastating . That being the case, I was willing to cut him some slack, as I too had had a recent loss (my brother)unfortunately he has, since then, gone off the deep end, and all I can do is pray for his recovery, but responding directly with him is a fruitless endeavor.
