Decades? Perhaps. But my complaints against Republicans are really just observations of their incapacity to serve all of the country. Preferenced, as always for over a hundred years, are the Elite.

Okay, thank you. And if I do happen upon some fact here and there, please bring breitbart and Hannity to bear absurdity on reality.

Okay, now we are getting somewhere. It is President Trump personally who would deny the visa? Although, historically emigration and visa limits go back to the establishment of our Nation. If you recall, 1932 President Hoover and the State Department essentially shut down immigration during the Great Depression as immigration went from 236,000 in 1929 to 23,000 in 1933. Perhaps you are ignoring that he coerced repatriation and deported of between 500,000 and 2 million Mexican Americans, mostly citizens, in the Mexican Repatriation.

You may also be forgetting that Obama placed a ban in 2011 and then muddied the water with his “Visa Waiver Program Improvement and Terrorist Travel Prevention Act” in 2015. So, a temporary ban on countries who breed and train terrorist is the reason your savior would not be able to enter the US?

Each nation has not only the right but the responsibility to not only limit visas but to restrict emigration depending on the needs of its citizens. We do not hear about it much, but you should look up the laws in Austria. People who plan to stay longer than 24 months must sign an Integration Agreement, a process designed to enhance their German-language skills and ability "to participate in the social, economic and cultural life in Austria." And then there is Germany, Japan, and Switzerland. All REQUIRE that the individual speak the language, pass a competency test, and sign an agreement of assimilation besides having personal finance at their immediate disposal to carry them through the first 2 years while waiting to have their case reviewed. Imagine how irate you would be if we decided, as a nation, to require all applicants to provide such credentials and prof of specie? Instead, our President looks to only keep out those who are criminals or want to commit acts of terrorism.

If Jesus were to ask for a visa, then he would not be the one you await. This gets into scripture and I am sure that is not the direction you wanted this thread to go.
Okay, now we are getting somewhere. It is Preside... (show quote)

Where to start with the absurdities of your post? Oh, here it is: "Our President looks to only keep out those who are criminals or want to commit acts of terrorism." Have you no comprehension of how stupid is that statement? How does he determine those things? All Mexicans, in his eyes, "are rapist and criminals.' (6-16-2016) His supposed ban on Muslim countries: Saudi Arabia is not banned and the 9/11 attackers were from there. How do you know anyone stateside or foreign wants "to commit acts of terrorism"?

No, your complaints against Republicans, while failing to hold your precious Liberals to the same standard, are nothing more than the butthurt blatherings of an infantile intellect. The Elite to which you refer contain more Democrat Liberals than Republicans.

The travel part of Trump’s order does target the same seven countries that were singled out with a law Obama signed in December 2015.
The Obama-signed law contains provisions that restrict travel to the United States for people who lived in or visited Iran, Iraq, Sudan, or Syria since March 2011. They must have a visa to enter the United States; they can’t use what is known as the Visa Waiver Program, which allows 90-day U.S. visits to other foreign visitors.

What's up with that, Mr. Truth in Advertising? No one heard a single peep out of you when your God-King Obama "PRAISE HIM; HALLELUJAH!!" did essentially the same thing. Oh, if it was Obama, then it was Holy Writ. Got it.
Once again, try and wrap what's left of your brain around the FACT that it is not a Muslim ban, it is a temporary ban on EVERYONE from these countries. A ban which affects some 12% of the world's Muslims. The other 88% who don't live there are under no more travel restrictions than any Christian, Hindu, or Buddhist or Reformed Aardvarkist who wishes to come to this country.
By the way, you are a liar; Trump never said "all Mexicans are rapists and criminals." You are making it up as you go. This has been verified so many times that you can't possibly claim being misinformed. That only leaves the other option.
Before you accuse ANYONE of making a stupid statement, you'd better look in the mirror, and then take a gander at your own blatherskite offerings.

Maybe, but that was not my point. It is who those parties predominantly serve. Republicans are at the abject service of the Elite.

Dictionary time, Loki. Please look up the words "restrictions" and "banned". See any noticeable differences?

"When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people." June 16, 2015 speech announcing his run for the presidency.

Saying "all" was a mistake. Maybe. I cannot attest to what tRump was thinking.

Is that why Democrats got more money from them the last election?

Carter banned travel from Iran. FDR refused to let European Jews into this country based on their religion and a good many ended up in Nazi death camps.
A restriction can be a de facto ban.
In order to be a ban, it would have to affect the other 88% of the World's Muslims. It doesn't. It restricts the Muslims who can come to this country based on their country of origin. The criteria is country, not religion. Will you personally vouch for and vet every alleged Muslim from these countries? Will you personally swear that they are being denied because they are Muslim? Around ten to fifteen percent of the people in these countries are Christian. Are they some kind of Christian Muslim hybrid we haven't heard about?
