All of the years that Republicans had control because they said to "Christians" We will end abortions. They never ended abortions. It is something they say to get you to vote for them. Smoke and Mirrors.

It's true. God said so. In His Word - the Bible. Ever read it?

This actually fits an expected response to a previously silent younger voice despondent of both political parties but particularly, more frustrated with the conservative right more than the liberal left. Rejection of conservative, blindly patriotic materialism seems to be the main attraction. It is interesting to observe a new criticism of "traditional" values.

So how's that throwing out traditional values going?

So you talked to God! Wow! He hates republicans! Wow! Is that all republicans or just the ones that don't go to church and worship him? How about just the straight ones? Does he just love the straight republicans and not the gay republicans? Or maybe he just loves the gay republicans and not the straight! Does he just love the rinos and not the tea party or is it the other way around? Does he only love the rich ones and not the poor ones or is it too the other way around? Does God only love the faithful ones and not the wicked ones? How about someone that is a conservative but doesn't identify with the republicans? Do they get a break? If you truly talk with God then please ask him which ones he hates, also what are the lottery numbers for the next drawing?

I think the younger folk view on this subject is sort of explained in the following quote that makes them more skeptical of the religious right politics.

Most people believe in things that don't require proof! Ufo's , voodoo, witchcraft, ghosts, evolution. There is no definite proof any of these exist yet many people believe they do. Why would it be hard to have faith in the bible when it has proven to be of great historical value. Many things predicted in the bible have come true. Just as the other things mentioned you need faith to believe I God. I would much rather put my faith in God than voodoo or witchcraft. Make fun of me if you will, it will have no bearing on myself.

I guess it gives them some sort of comfort along with the "ink", piercings, those baggy dungarees and diet of greasy food. I guess some go through a rebel phase and I hope they grow out of it and see the light.

True point. It appears the younger one's like the parody "Murica" and are pretty much sarcastic and poke fun at the hypocrisy of some that while claiming to be religious and patriotic, use it to act like an anti-Christ to immigrants and citizens of other religions. I think that hypocrisy drives them away from believing in the bible because too often, the people who are loudest about those things claim the bible told them to do it.
