The racism inquisition over Jeff Sessions

By Selwyn Duke

It has become apparent that, unlike in ages past, accusations of racism are now the last refuge of a scoundrel. Not surprisingly, they’re also the first.

Attorney general nominee Sen. Jeff Sessions is again finding this out the hard way, with racism charges being rolled out to scuttle his nomination. It matters not that a group of black pastors is defending him, with one crediting Sessions for having “worked to bankrupt the KKK in Alabama” and helping desegregate that state’s government schools. He’s to be branded a heretic by the Cult of Racism’s cafeteria bigotry bean counters.

Yet it’s inconceivable that Sessions would, let’s say, refuse to prosecute a couple of white-hooded, nightstick-brandishing KKK members caught intimidating black voters at a polling place. But Barack Obama’s first attorney general, Eric Holder, in fact did a corresponding thing — when dropping the case against weapon-wielding Black Panthers captured on video intimidating white voters in Philly in 2008.

This prompted The Wall Street Journal to ask, “Why did the Justice Department dismiss such a clear case of voter intimidation?” Former DOJ official-turned-whistleblower J. Christian Adams provided an answer in 2010, revealing that the department ordered “attorneys in the civil rights division to ignore cases that involve black defendants and white victims,” wrote Fox News. He said there was “hostility” toward such cases.

It’s no surprise Holder played such a race card, says Adams, because for decades he actually carried around a real race card in his wallet. On it were printed a Harlem preacher’s racial thoughts, which Adams states Holder would explain thus: “It really says that … I am not the tall U.S. attorney, I am not the thin United States attorney. I am the black United States attorney. And he [the preacher] was saying that no matter how successful you are, there’s a common cause that bonds the black United States attorney with the black criminal….”

Neither this nor the Black Panther scandal figured prominently in the mainstream media, and there was no drumbeat, among politicians or pundits, to brand Holder a bigot unfit for office.

Then there’s late Democrat Sen. Robert Byrd of West Virginia. Once an “Exalted Cyclops” in the KKK, he wrote during his younger years, “I shall never fight in the armed forces with a negro by my side.”

Yet all was forgiven. Bill Clinton justified the behavior, saying Byrd was “trying to get elected” while Hillary eulogized him in 2010 as her “friend and mentor.” Democrats also had no problem making him Senate majority leader and, later, chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, among other things.

Why the double standard? Liberals’ concern over race is a matter of principle — the power principle. Just consider that while Donald Trump was called many things over the years, the “ist” and “obe” species of nouns were never among them. In fact, race hustler Jesse Jackson once called Trump a “friend” and a model for “diversity,” and last year Trump (wrongly) backed “transgender” bathroom social engineering.

Yet for the last year he’s been viciously attacked as a “racist” and “homophobe.” What changed? His rise toward the presidency threatened Democrat power — so liberals deployed their usual worn-out, weaponized arguments.

Our real problem, however, is systemic: racism on the brain. C.S. Lewis once pointed out that evil seduces us into exaggerating our faults, telling the pacifist he’s too militaristic and the militarist that he’s too pacifistic. Today we behave as if racism is the source of all ills when it’s merely a sub-category of one of the Seven Deadly Sins: wrath. What of the rest?

With our sex-saturated society, we’d do better to ask an attorney general candidate, “Sir, are you lustful?!” After all, maybe the individual would go soft on sex crimes. We could scour a man’s background, dredging up the borderline salacious joke he told in ’73 or find a witness to claim he ogled a girl in high school or once danced like Elvis. We could do the same with sloth, greed, gluttony or anything else, compiling our dossiers and using a one-off comment or incident to epitomize the person’s entire life.

Seem ridiculous? Well, it’s precisely what we do with our characteristic obsession, race. Moreover, if we at least applied our sin-scouring standard consistently, we’d have it all over our time’s hypocritical racial inquisitors.

___________________________________________________________________________________
The Jeff Sessions that I know is no racist

U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama, President Trump’s pick to be the next Attorney General of the United States, a key cabinet position of great importance, is unusually well qualified for the job. I have no doubt that he will be approved by his colleagues on the Senate Judiciary Committee and confirmed by the entire Senate. I am aware that there are some who have expressed doubts about Sen. Sessions, apparently on the basis of vague allegations of racism.

Perhaps those allegations arise because of mere partisan animus, or maybe because he was born in Selma, Ala., the site of great conflict in the civil rights era of the sixties. But the ever-deepening and widening partisan divide, which seems to be driving us all to opposite poles, is never a reason to stereotype anyone, or to assign unwarranted charges of racism to an honorable man. Racism in Jeff Sessions? That is certainly not the Jeff Sessions I know.

I have only talked to Jeff three or four times since he has been in the Senate, but in 1981, we were both appointed United State Attorneys by President Ronald Reagan — Jeff Sessions, for the Southern District of Alabama, and me for the District of Wyoming. Jeff and I served together on the 15-member Attorney General’s Advisory Committee of United States Attorneys for a few years, but more than that, we worked together on the five-to-seven man Law Enforcement Coordinating Sub Committee for about ten years. During those years, we would meet and interact several times a year with the goal of improving the relationship between federal law enforcement agencies on the one hand, and state and local agencies on the other. We were highly successful in that endeavor.

I interacted frequently with Jeff, and In all that time, I never heard him say anything that could even remotely be construed as racist. That’s just not who he is. We did discuss, on a few occasions, the terrible circumstances of the Jim Crow South in which he, and many millions of others, grew up. He had nothing good to say about that time, and indeed he praised the civil rights movement of the sixties as absolutely essential to the unification of America.

While he was United States Attorney and later Attorney General of Alabama, Jeff helped to desegregate Alabama’s schools and to prosecute Ku Klux Klansmen who murdered a black man. Hardly the actions of a racist.

I know Jeff to be a kind, caring and polite man who is concerned about the dignity of every human being, regardless of race or creed. As Attorney General he will encourage vigorous, but fair law enforcement — without regard to race, creed or political affiliation.

In doing so, he will uphold the Constitutional protections most vital to our freedom: The 5th and 14th Amendment provisions guaranteeing to all Americans, in every state, the equal protection of the laws — and preventing any state, or the federal government, from attempting to deprive anyone of life, liberty or property without the due process of law.

These provisions, the most vital in our Constitution, are crucial to protecting of our civil rights. I know that we can count of Jeff Sessions to scrupulously uphold them. It is simply not in his nature or temperament to fail to enforce them. Jeff believes very strongly in our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. He believes, as I do, that the Equal Protection and Due Process clauses provide the very fabric of our freedom and of our national character.

So can we trust Jeff Sessions? I think we can — and I truly believe that he will be a great Attorney General.

Young Russian Offered $15 Million And US Citizenship In “Deep State” Plot Against Trump

By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers

In what can only be described as one of the most terrifying treasonous acts against the American people in their entire nations history, a new Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) report circulating in the Kremlin today details that former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey controlled a $173 BILLION “Deep State” slush fund designed for the sole purpose of destroying President Donald Trump—of which, at least, $15 million of was “offered” by the FBI to a young Russian man if he lied and said President Putin authorized a computer hack against the campaign of Hillary Clinton. [Note: Some words and/or phrases appearing in quotes in this report are English language approximations of Russian words/phrases having no exact counterpart] According to this report, during this past weeks meeting in the White House Oval Office, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confronted President Trump as to why the US mainstream propaganda media had not told the American people about the 26 April grave warning issued by Lieutenant-General Viktor Poznihir, Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces, that the Operations Command of the Russian General Staff has concluded that the United States is preparing a nuclear first strike on Russia.

In his stunning and shocking reply to Foreign Minister Lavrov, this report continues, President Trump related (and provided documents to support) that he had yet to wrest full control of his government from his “Deep State” enemies—of whom, it was alarmingly revealed this past August (2016), had “disappeared/stolen” over $6.5 TRILLION from the US Department of Defense to finance their operations against him with.
Heading the “Deep State” intelligence operation to destroy President Trump, this report states, was Director Comey, who was given an astonishing $173 BILLION slush fund budget from these stolen $6.5 TRILLION monies—and through which he was able to provide payment to the vast Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) network that controls nearly all of the US mainstream and that nations academic institutions for their now hourly “fake news”, research articles and poll attacks against Trump.

Central to Director Comey’s main intelligence operation against President Trump, this report notes, was his creating of what is called the “Russia Hacking Meme”—that describes an entirely made up story that Russia hacked the 2016 US presidential election to support Trump against Hillary Clinton—and an equally entirely made up document called the “Trump Russian Dossier” that was created by an American political opposition research company named Fusion GPS and paid for by as yet unidentified Hillary Clinton supporters.

Critical to note about Director Comey’s “Russia Hacking Meme”, this report explains, was that it involved the computer servers of Hillary Clinton’s Democratic Party—whose stunning contents were hacked and released by Wikileaks—and that Wikileaks to this day states Russia had not been involved with.

The “main/central” problem with Director Comey’s “Russia Hacking Meme”, though, this report continues, was that the FBI never examined the computer servers he claimed Russia hacked—with Hillary Clinton’s Democratic Party saying the FBI never asked to examine them, and the FBI saying that they did ask for them but were refused.

With the FBI, therefore, not being able to examine Hillary Clinton’s Democrat Party computer servers, this report says, Director Comey then claimed that a Clinton funded and supported private company named Crowdstrike, who said Russia hacked into these computer servers, was to be believed above all else—but whose claims of Russia hacking have proven to all be lies, and who are now refusing to cooperate with the US Congress too.

So completely discredited, in fact, was Director Comey’s claim that Crowdstrike should be believed in their Russia hacking claims, this report details, one of the world’s leading cybersecurity experts, Jeffrey Carr, scathingly rebuked him in a withering research document titled “Can Facts Slow The DNC Breach Runaway Train?” that smashed every single Crowdstrike Russian hacking claim—and wherein Carr stated:

“The metadata in the leaked documents are perhaps most revealing: one dumped document was modified using Russian language settings, by a user named “Феликс Эдмундович,” a code name referring to the founder of the Soviet Secret Police

OK. Raise your hand if you think that a GRU or FSB officer would add Iron Felix’s name to the metadata of a stolen document before he released it to the world while pretending to be a Romanian hacker. Someone clearly had a wicked sense of humor.”

With his “Russian Hacking Meme” falling apart, this report continues, Director Comey then set his sights on a relatively minor 29-year-old Russian hacker named Yevgeniy Nikulin, whom the Federal Security Service (FSB) had issued an arrest warrant for due to charges that he had stolen $3,450 in a cyber theft scheme.

In early October, 2016, this report details, Director Comey discovered that Yevgeniy Nikulin was in the Czech Republic and issued an Interpol “Red Notice” warrant for his immediate arrest on 5 October—and on 21 October had him indicted by a US Attorney General in Oakland, California charging him with hacking into American tech companies—and 6 days later, on 27 October, issued another series of secret charges against him no one is allowed to see.

Armed with enough known and unknown charges to keep Yevgeniy Nikulin jailed in the US for hundreds of years, this report continues, Director Comey then ordered his FBI agents to go to the Czech Republic and offer this young man complete freedom by the dropping of all charges, giving him immediate US citizenship, a free apartment for life, and payments equaling up to $15 million—and all he had to do was lie and say that he hacked Hillary Clinton’s Democratic Party on the orders of President Putin.

According to Yevgeniy Nikulin’s testimonial letter—shortly after President Trump was elected, Director Comey’s FBI agents (on 14-15 November 2016, and 7 February 2017) made this extraordinary illegal offer with his affirming under oath: “…I received a proposal from A [gent]: You will have to declare that you have broken Hillary Clinton's mailbox for Donald Trump on the orders of Vladimir Putin, you must agree to extradition to the United States, here we will remove all the charges we will give you apartment and money, American citizenship—I refused, soon the interrogation was over, the Agent said that they would still come”. [PYC]

Caught now between Russia and the United States “Deep State”, this report says, Yevgeniy Nikulin’s own Czech Republic attorney, Martin Sadilek, has stated that these US charges against his client are “literally” based on claims by FBI agents who have not provided any evidence to support them—and whose extradition hearing had to be postponed this week due Nikulin not receiving legal documents he’s entitled to in Russian—with the next hearing scheduled for 30 May under the tightest security the Czech Republic can impose.

To if the American people will be allowed to know the full truth of Director Comey’s crimes against them on behalf of his “Deep State” masters trying to destroy President Trump, this report sadly states, remains highly doubtful due to that nation’s mainstream propaganda media never allowing these peoples to know the truth about anything—especially how a young Russian man named Yevgeniy Nikulin was crying in a Czech Republic prison this past week in the arms of his mother after unwittingly becoming the greatest pawn in the world.

And to anyone believing that Russia (or any other nation for that matter) would ever allow one its elite intelligence agency computer experts to leave the Federation and then be captured by a hostile foreign power, especially one that hacked into a US election under orders from President Putin, this report concludes, one must surely believe in fairy tales too—like Director Comey and his “Deep State’s” entire “Russia Hysteria” war against President Trump actually is. http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index2300.htm

It works both ways Conservatives are bigoted toward persons who disagree with "their" twisted ideology. Conservatives lack empathy, flexibility, a sense of humor, complexity, nuance, reason, logic. Conservatism is incompatible with democracy, prosperity, and civilization in general. While the liberals judge human beings to be – moral, rational and social, the conservatives estimate men to be both imperfect and unperfectable. DOJ Jeff Session is one of the best that happened at the Justice Department. He is brilliant, fair, exercises every letter in the Constitution. He applies the law blindly,(color blind) according to facts following the framework of our constitution. DOJ Jeff Session is very humble.

Based on all the failed performance of FBI Comey, it was high time that he needs to be replaced. He did not exercise independent judgement on the massive crimes of Clinton because he can't, due to long time alliance with the Clinton syndicate. Comey's job on Clinton was to assess her criminal activities, and forward his findings to the prosecutors to judge. But Comey did it all.
His performance on national security on the Muslim terrorists that happened from 2013 to 2016 was not effective. Thus so many lives lost and thousands suffered. He was lax and soft in preventing them. Why? Did he follow Obama's orders?
