Mark Dice is another good one to watch. Hell, liberals actually think Trumps sons are going on safari killing dinosaurs. I have a thread about it somewhere.

I was Drugged....

The other day I was talking to someone at a store in our town about a Methamphetamine lab had been found in an old farmhouse in the adjoining county and he asked me a rhetorical question, Why didn't we have a drug problem when we were growing up?

I replied that I had a drug problem when I was young: I was drug to church on Sunday morning. I was drug to church for weddings and funerals. I was drug to family reunions and community socials no matter the weather.

I was drug by my ears when I was disrespectful to adults. I was also drug to the woodshed when I disobeyed my parents, told a lie, brought home a bad report card, did not speak with respect, spoke ill of the teacher or the priest, or if I didn't put forth my best effort in everything that was asked of me.

I was drug to the kitchen sink to have my mouth washed out with soap if I uttered a profanity. I was drug out to pull weeds in mom's garden and flower beds. I was drug to the homes of neighbors to help mow the yard, repair the clothesline, and if my mother had ever known that I took a single dime as a tip for this kindness, my dad would have drug me back to the woodshed.

Those drugs are still in my veins and they affect my behavior in everything I do, say, or think. They are stronger than cocaine, crack, of heroin: and if today's children had this kind of drug problem, America would be a better place.

God bless the parents who drugged us.

Unfortunately, in today's society, the liberals have LEGALIZED many drugs that are detrimental to people's health and well being. All in the name of "If it feels good, do it." Much of what used to be morally and legally unacceptable in society has been accepted and made legal by politicians and judges with NO MORALS. Churches and Christianity have been under attack (islam is fine) and unnatural acts and conditions (homosexual, transgender, etc.) have been accepted as the "new normal". When citizens of this country speak out and oppose this trend, they are vilified in the MSM and those same politicians and judges pass laws FORCING those people to accept what they believe to be wrong and unnatural. As usual, it's all about money and the power over people who don't agree.

Yes indeed, things are screwed up, kids have zero fear of mom and dad, for they can sue you in court if you hit them. My mom broke a few coat hangers over my butt for doing something I was told to not do. For the record I never been arrested, or set fire to any thing, payed my taxes, i'm just a normal old working American.

That's the best kind. My mom used to use a wooden spoon on mine and my sisters but when we got our of hand. And the washing of my mouth with soap. Yep had it all and my parents actually believed the teachers and would call me a liar if I tried to tell them a different story. Thank God that they were smart enough to see through the malarkey that I was trying to tell them.

I actually broke a wooden spoon over my own daughter's butt, and I'm not one for physical punishment.

every time my family gathers
I hear the story of Mama sending the kids out to cut their own switches
she used them
BTW
they all became upstanding ,tax paying citizens, worked hard for what they have and have all raised fine families of their own

That reminds me of my own mother. I don't think we ever had to actually go out and find the switches we liked, but she certainly threatened us with having to do!
