What I mean is that both communism and capitalism require something form man in order to work, which is not necessarily a part of man's natural psyche. Communism requires that everyone work for the common good but of course it is in man's nature to want to take more for himself; possibly a biological instinct to insure the passage of the genes. And in capitalism, man needs to eventually give back to the community rather than hoarding his wealth/goods, depriving the less fortunate/less intelligent/less skilled. You can probably describe this better than I can. But that's what I was referring to.
The one percenter's of today are essentially destroying the system which has allowed them to prosper. They take and take, driven by greed, while in many cases, put nothing back into the system. The result is an unstable system of have's and have not's. Eventually, the instability is manifest in frustrations being misinterpreted as bigotry/racism/elitism/etc.

I decided to think about your first sentence there: Did God know the nature of man when he created us? I could be flippant, but I won't.
I think this about the nature of man, whatever it is or ought to be. Any part of his nature that has goodness: attributes, traits, needs, whatever, can also become adverse. Risk-taking is good, but when taken to an extreme it becomes detrimental, and that is what contributes to the pendulum swings in history.
And so with any other trait: Caring for others has goodness, when needed or for children, but when carried to extremes it is detrimental to others.
Fears are a necessary part of man's experience, but unless evaluated properly lead to overly suspicious and paranoid behaviors.
Competition can be healthy, but can be addictive, as we have talked about.
Pride of accomplishment is a necessary emotion (otherwise why would anyone want to do any productive work?), but can become excessive---my downfall: just because I'm usually right doesn't mean I'm always right!---and result in arrogance.
Anger, especially righteous anger, is VERY necessary. But again, when men are unaware of their anger, they will act impulsively, like children or beasts.
Well, I'm going to stop right there, because I see myself already getting into a different topic entirely.
