I would say that "Patriots" won twice this year.

Given that the north won again--I sure can't complain...

I have to say I was proud no one took a knee and there was no political crap at 1/2 time. It was a very exciting SB
I'm happy to hear that, it's the first I've heard. I purposely did not watch the half time because I didn't want to witness and hear anymore leftists from Hollywood mouthing off in front of a captured audience. I expect that crowd would not have tolerated one anti Trump comment.

I did not watch it, I will again start watching sports when they stand for the National Anthem. Until then, I will not buy a sponsored product, attend a game, or watch them on the TV.
I was very pleased with the content and delivery of the entire show and what a show it was .
The shows cohesion was obvious to all . Impeccable family value packaging .
I do hope that the NFL pays attention to how well received this Superbowl was and can
manage to keep the same production team in place including Fox Network . Brilliant.
A winning formula all the way around.

Unfortunately I gave up on the Patriots at the end of the third quarter after they scored a touchdown and missed the point after. After the score was 28 to 9 in favor of the Falcons I had enough and turned it off. I will watch the replay now as I was pulling for the Patriots from the start after the Falcons beat my Packers. I was really in shock when I saw the score this morning.
The game was the epitome of snatching defeat right out of the jaws of victory. On another note the half time show was superb. What other singer could/would do such acrobatics? From atop the stadium, no less, for starters. The choreography looked like a LOT of people put in a LOT of time practicing. But, It did seam a little long.
Another thing. I was disappointed with the usually great commercials. Seems this time most of the ads were mostly expensive cars and movies I could care less about.
I gave up on football years ago. Too much self importance, too much showing boating. I'll stick to hockey. A 60 minute game gives you 60 minutes of action, not the maybe minutes you get in football. During the World Cup, U.S. coach John Tortorella said if any of his players disrespected the flag and national anthem, they would not have seen the ice.

I'll second that notion...

Regardless of what you think of the NFL, that one hell of a game.
I agree . It was a great game to watch. The suprise fast start of the Falcons in the 1st half and the role reversal of the 2nd. Watching the Patriots work their magic was , magic .

I have played enough football in every level, and I enjoyed every moment. True enough, it's a tough sport. When you lose a game......You almost can't your teammates in the eye....When you win? It's party time!
The lesson.....Winning is better than losing!
Terrible game Atlanta folded like an accordian

I just finished watching the Superbowl over lunch and I picked it up in the second quarter. By the end of the third quarter I could well see why I shut it off. The fourth quarter was indeed superb and then the overtime drive. I could just see the Superbowl balloon deflating on the Falcons sidelines as the game progressed. Truly a wonderful finish and allows us Packer fans a chance to lick and heal our wounds at the Falcons defeat.
