I agree. First SB overtime. 31 unanswered points. I was sure the Falcons had it. WOW!

I did not watch it, I will again start watching sports when they stand for the National Anthem. Until then, I will not buy a sponsored product, attend a game, or watch them on the TV.

Got to agree, history of the game made today. Carol picked Brady as the winning 1/4back over a week go, and she was right on. I was concerned there in that first half, and until the 4th quarter things were not looking good. As it is said, tho, when the going get tough, the tough get going!

Aren't you taking it a bit far? Not supporting them, or buying their products, is fine. But I love football. I'll still watch it. Watching does nothing whatsoever to support those bastards. Why deprive myself when it does nothing to support the NFL?

Everyone stood for the National Anthem, there were no protest knell downs. If you do no watch, how can you know? Pretty silly.

I have to say I was proud no one took a knee and there was no political crap at 1/2 time. It was a very exciting SB

It keeps them in the spotlight, ratings on television, and influences their too high pay checks. No. I will start watching again when they stand for our anthem.

I am sure this will be in the news or someone will tell me all about it. We will see it this holds for the next games, it it does then the ball game parties will be reconvened at my house. But, I am so disappointed with them right now....

How on earth can you see and actually verify with your own eyes, not a news report from some media outlet you do or do not trust, that people stood for the National Anthem unless you watch? Your post is utterly absurd. How will you verify that they stood for the anthem without watching? Or did not by not watching? Do you see how idiotic is this statement: "I will start watching again when they stand for our anthem." How on earth will you ever know without looking? Lol, way too funny.

I go with you Pennylynn with a few exceptions. Starting several years ago, I dropped Pro Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, and Football. I still watch College Football and will not the others ever again! Too much disrespect and showboating plus I have extra time for home jobs now.

Thank you Buddy,

My husband (may G*d give him peace) was big into sports until a year before he died. When I asked why, he simply said that these men no longer showed respect; respect for country or their fans. This was about the time that Vick was into dog fighting. It seems like every month we see something... drugs, DWI, even murder and then the "taking a knee".... Well, this year I finally got it. I understood what he was trying to say. These men are no longer good role models, they are simply boys that have never grown up.

I now spend the time I would have watched these men playing, doing volunteer work or with my many grandchildren. I also support my local high schools and college players and attend most of their games. I enjoy the game, but.....

Thank you again, I am relieved that someone understands.

Well, the best Super bowl was when the Raiders demolished the Redskins 38-9.........My opinion, of course.

But, this was an incredible game, no doubt. Historical in NFL lore. I had picked the Patriots, and the first three quarters were pretty bad for them, what with the turnovers and the pressure on Brady. However, Belichick knows how to adjust his team and on the biggest stage, they just kept working the Falcons. Sure, some beneficial penalties here and there, but, that wasn't a factor. It's the experience of the staff of the Patriots, and the ability for them to go to "The Next Man Up"......

And to think this New England Dynasty started with a terrible call by an official.....Yes...The "Tuck" rule......That one still chaps my hide! Hey, it does.......It was the worst call in NFL history......Or close to it.

But, hat's off to the Patriots........I just hope they all retire now! Changing of the guard, so to speak....
