Dave's comment was intended to shut me down. Read his comment. What I was responding to. If you or anyone else wants to challenge my comments and decides to attempt a forced shut down of me stating my position, I will challenge you or them and stand my ground. It is not only my right, but my prerogative.
Do you think I have no right to respond in like kind to a comment directed at me?
If Dave wishes to go down that path in his comment, it is his offence that should be condemned. That you choose to ignore his offence and address mine is your choice. You have the right to side with him. But I will defend my comments.

You know I don't give a rat's ass what any of you think of me or what I say. What I don't understand is why all the whining over name calling, I think it spices things up a bit.
Some of you seem a little thin skinned and seem to have your feelings easily hurt. As I have said, I came from another site that I believe was shut down, and a lot of you on this site (not all) would have wimped out. I say in you can dish it out, then be able to take it. If you don't like such things as personal attacks and name calling don't do it, be as polite as you want or as nasty as you want.
If you are a Marxist or one of its cousins you are fair game to whatever I feel will offend you. You are my enemy, the enemy of my country, my Constitution, and my way of life. I resent you and all you stand for. So all you pantie waist democrats out there beware, I may take cheap shots at you and enjoy doing so.

I don't have any problem with shutting down a discussion. Everyone has the power to do so. But it should be clear that after the namecallling, further exchange is usually just a pointless display of power, rarely having any meaningful or useful content. We ALL have the "right" and power to write what we want, as long as this is still America (or whatever free plot of earth you're writing from) But if meaningful exchange is the goal, namecalling prevents the possibility of that exchange.
