Do you know what the word "Net" means? "X" coming in minus "X" leaving equals NET coming here. So if you say "there has been a net zero of people coming here, but thousands leaving," you would be incorrect because net zero coming here means that the same number of people came in as left.

Our ability to use fossil fuels without releasing hydrocarbon fumes thru use of catalytic converters for vehicles and scrubbers in power plants are well known. There is no one suggesting these be removed. Recognize that there is a point of diminishing returns. When youpass that, what you gain in one area is lost in another.
