Yea, the first flip caught me off guard. ..I waved on the second one....maybe blow a kiss on the next one ...he's a screamer..Michael Moore looking fat bastard!!

As for the animal laws...yea, in college i started collecting reptiles and a couple assorted warm blooded animal...snow monkey, african pygmy hedgehogs, a 3 toed sloth...all was well till i moved to Euless Tx..lightning struck my town home which brought tge fire dept.....they freaked when they entered and a 6' rattlesnake went off, my extra bedroom was basically a herpatorium. ....here comes animal control who shit themselves when they saw the number of poisonous reps i owned they started writing citations for everthing from possession of pit vipers, poisonous pit vipers.....that was a double dip as all pit vipers are poisonous, constrictors in excess of 3 feet....all my boas and pythons were well past that...my Burmese was a tad over 21 feet, my columbian red was 12 feet lng....hell my Malaysian water monitor weighed in at 35 lbs and was like my dog, my two Caiman were about 4 feet....they took great exceptionto the spitting cobra and the various mambas....the biggest fines were for possession of the black ring tailed diamond back rattlers.....it is a huge fine for being in possession of reptiles indigenous only to the state of TX.....in short.....the fines totaleda little over 20 grand.......so i had to apply for a Texas reptile rehabilitation license, take classes and learn the laws to get the fines waved....so i did.....i did make the wall of shame in the Euless animal control office ...there are a couple of pictures of me and my large snakes on display to show others my shame......all these were legally bought through a reptile farm out of Florida with no questions asked........did i mention the town home management ripped my lease up and told me rudely to get the hell our? Never darken ther doorstep again...hahahhaahha........so i bought a house in the neighboring city where i could continue my weird obsession with reptiles......i miss those guys, wife will not allow anything like that......my redtail ate her adopted kitty one day....her fault, not the snakes......so i am banned from owning anything cool anymore.

Those were Good Times LJ

If you go to court just have your neighbor prove the half-cat was their's. Did they take a picture of the cadaver and compare it with any photos of their pets?

There will be no court....i brought them the remains so they didn't go looking or waste time putting up flyers. ...cat was in my yard, they are not allowed to roam in my city......no crime was commited except by the cat owner.........he should have raised a smarter cat, it must have been declawed......the crime scene was near the fence and no dammage at all to my big ass dog...she's fast....but not as quick as a cat

Had a neighbor with a cat, but when mice would appear he found he had to stop feeding his cat before the cat would go after the mice... Seems there is no instinct for cats to go after mice...

Yeah. ..but this is TX, we tend to handle our own business, our own ways without involving the legal system or the law.....,he's from up North someplace...i would guess Maine or New England area by his funny accent ( funny for here anyway) he will get over it or i will be power washing pieces of him from my front grill and radiator

I'm easy going....to a point, then there is no returning......I'm the alpha male in this area.....my Peacock feathers are brighter than his.. .....he's just a little guinea hen, all noise.

No doubt he's from some urban or suburban area. Otherwise he would know that dogs, Fox, coyote, raccoons, etc. would always be a threat. I've lived in rural areas all my life, have owned dogs and a cat always ( the cats grew up with the dogs a vise versa). I've had cats killed be dogs, coins and cars, but I understood and never held a grudge. This guy sounds like a basic urbanite that just left his " Safe Place". You might want to put a Trump sign on his yard some night just to document his reaction.
And whatever you do, make sure it's in self-defense.

Hahahaaha...yep...as amatter of fact there was a thread back a ways about not seeing Hillary yard signs.....i said ive seen one....it was this guys yard, the new guy that moved in....., 3 days and it was history..hahahahaha.

We are in an upper mid class neighborhood. ...i have plenty of critters moving around and to my bird feeders...opossums, coons, Norwegian roof rats..we have some coyotes come in the neighborhood...they are like dogs here, but will take small dogs and cats at times. .we have the occasional bobcats. .....plenty of woods in the area, gators in the rivers..not many, but there in the summer months. ...hawks big enough to take small dogs and cats......he is in for a learning curve for sure.

Long story short.....came home as I had a dental appt, let the dogs out while i jumped in the shower and did the pre visit double flossing and crap....went to let the dogs in and noticed copious amounts of blood covering the front end of my large dog...My Dog!...went to freaking out to see what happened. ..cactus get her? Something stupid going all crack head after a squirrel?....cleaned her up and found no wounds...hmmmmmmm, went out back to find the issue, thats when i found the crime scene. ...1 half of a cat

I have seen this cat, it hangs out near the corner house that had new neighbors move in a couple months back ....sooooooooo, i scooped up and bagged the remains like a good guy and went to see if this was theirs, i didn't want them putting up signs and looking for this cat....so i did what i thought was the right thing....NOT!! This quickly escalated into a huge debacle and shouting fest that was close to coming to blows, it probably would have if not for our local finest in blue showing up from another neighbors complaint.....geeeez, after the cops played CSI and checked out the crime scene to determine the cat was in my back yard and on my property they quickly informed the new neighbors i was not at fault. ...they were, city regs do not allow cats to roam free in my city and informed them they can be fined by animal control. ...which just happened to show up.......bummer, now these people were demanding i replace this high dollar cat......of course my reponse was...that ain't happening!

I have a feeling my new neighbors will not be inviting me over for Sunday BBQs........the male has threatened litigation in small claims ct.

At least one cat needs to be on the inside.
