If you want a lesson in corruption, check out the PA. Abbas just built a new palace for himself, while his people live in poverty. Practically all of the US funds given to the PA has wound up in the pockets of the few. The only reason that Hamas became so strong in Gaza is because they are not as corrupt as the PA.The PA is a classic study in the corruption in Arab society.

Palestinian and Israeli children have both been indoctrinated into a culture of hate fear and suspicion...the isreali's just have more and better weapons: the man stabbing yielded a knife while the troops... Well you get the picture. Having met with both Palestinian and Jewish parents I have never found that one did not value their children any mor or less than any parent I have encountered in the world. Current isreali government policy of: blowing up family homes; stripping family members of the right to vote, work, travel contribute to hopelessness that is fairly rampant among Palestinian youth. As we, safe here in the US, like to glorify in the movies, The oppressed (Palestinians) should be fighting for there freedom. Rabin came really close 20 years ago only to be shot and killed by a right wing extremist who has a lot of support today and who is totally unrepentant. So what do do? We can support isreal's right to exist while tying OUR tax money to some basic human rights reform and a return to the table to talk peace--it's been done elsewhere, it can be done there.

This explains why DC is corrupt:

Guess you haven't heard that Palestinian children are strapping bombs to themselves and blowing things up. Yeah. Their parents really value their children. Then there are the "Honor" Killings. Some poor woman is brutally raped. Then her family considers her unclean and kills her. I could go on and on about the evils of Islam. Real nice bunch, those Muslims.

Danny Danon, Israel's new ambassador to the United Nations, is urging the Security Council to make a statement against what he described as "the incitement that fuels terror".

During his speech he held up a piece of card with a diagram of a human body entitled "How to Stab a Jew", which he says is "an example of what Palestinian children are being exposed to day in and day out, in school, after school".

He said: "When a Palestinian child returns from school and opens (sic) the television, he doesn't see Barney or Donald Duck, he sees murderers portrayed as heroes. When he opens a textbook, he doesn't learn about math and science, he's being taught to hate."

Holding up the picture, he said: "We talk about a lot about incitement – here you see what Palestinian incitement looks like.

Mr Danon accused Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas of leading the "dangerous incitement" and of "spreading lies" saying Israel is trying to change the delicate status quo at Jerusalem's holiest site the al Aqsa Mosque.

The mosque has been at the root of recent tensions, which have seen attacks, deaths and injuries on both sides. It is revered by Jews as the Temple Mount and it is also Islam's third-holiest site.

Mr Danon said Israel would not agree to any international presence at the compound, adding that "any such intervention would violate the decades-long status quo".

The emergency council meeting - called by Arab states amid increasing violence in the region - highlighted the deepening bitterness and distrust between the two sides after decades of conflict.

Riyad Mansour, the Palestinian ambassador to the UN, told the council the issue of protection "has become more urgent than any time before" because of what he called Israeli aggression "against our defenceless Palestinian people", including at the al Aqsa.

The words come just hours after a Palestinian man posed as a journalist before stabbing and injuring an Israeli soldier. (Hot link)

The soldier's colleagues then killed the attacker.

Over the past month, eight Israelis have been killed in Palestinian attacks, most of them stabbings. In that time, 31 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire, including 14 described by Israel as attackers. The rest were killed in clashes with Israeli troops.

Why would a poster describing to students who read and write in Arabic how to stab Jews be written in English?

You may be interested in knowing that Israel has been and is now willing to sit down at peace talks with Palestinians without preconditions. The Palestinians have rejected this idea, Israel have been offered generous terms for peace which include a Palestinian state, and a presence in Jerusalem. At first they agreed, but then would or could not accept it. The Palestinians refuse any kind of compromise! They have demands that would change the Jewish state to a Muslim state. That is unacceptable and will never be agreed to by any government of Israel.
The current wave of terror in Jerusalem and other cities came about because the PA circulated false stories that Israel intended to violate the agreement on the Temple Mount. There are no plans to violate the Muslim holy sights on the Temple mount.

Good observation, Kevyn. It just illustrates how stupid Zionist propagandists can be.

Without preconditions? That would mean returning to the pre-1967 borders. If they don't return to those borders, there is no land left for the state of Palestine.

I'm a big advocate of the old saying; "the only stupid question is the one not asked..." - but c'mon Kev, you obviously didn't even look at the link. Why does the backdrop read in English "security council" (next to the UN logo)

Did you think the pic was of a teacher showing the poster to a group of students?

The Israeli ambassador is obviously pitching propaganda at the UN. Why wouldn't he use the actual Palestinian illustration if that illustration existed? They had to manufacture the propaganda piece. The article you posted used this disclaimer: "Sky News has been unable to verify Mr Danon's claims, in which he said: "When a Palestinian child returns from school and opens (sic) the television, he doesn't see Barney or Donald Duck, he sees murderers portrayed as heroes.

Ok fair enough. I for one don't need their verification to think Mr. Danon is telling the truth. I know, I know, I've been propagandized; save it.

There is, and never has been, a Palestinian state. Palestinians were squatters in an area that was a wasteland. The Jewish people had a historical claim to that land. And look what they've done with it. Just as the Bible predicted. Israel is now the bread basket of the middle east. The food they grow feeds much of the middle east. It is once again a land of milk and honey. The rag heads can bitch and moan all they want. The Jews are Gods chosen people. He will redeem them one day, and their enemies will perish. Every single one of them. Every empire that has raised it's hand against Israel is no more, yet Israel remains. That should tell you something. Never, in all of human history, have a people lost their homeland, been scattered across the globe, then reclaimed their homeland. The only explanation for Israels continued existence is the hand of God, protecting them, even though many of them still reject Him.

Your attitude is exactly why Jews are so disrespected worldwide.
