The Syrian people have not invited us to settle their civil war. Maybe Obama ordered the strike. He's not finished with us yet. That kind of hate doesn't just disappear overnight.
Do we really want to sacrifice more American blood when we don't even have the facts as yet?

I also think it most likely was Assad but I prefer to wait for facts. If.you don't, that's your decision.

You act like there is something to wait for. Assad has killed hundreds of thousands of his own people. Following the radar trail is easy enough. Unless you think Trump lied--he got the right man...

I'm glad you aren't in charge of anything. Reactionaries are dangerous and you finding fault with waiting for clear factual information before reacting labels you as such.

Perhaps Trump has the concrete proof he needs. You do not and neither do I.

There was a time when gays were thought to be being controlled by satan. Using your mentality, you would have been killed at that time had not cooler heads prevailed.

We can always drop bombs and kill people should the situation prove warranted. We cannot take them back if we find we were wrong.

You preach tolerance and a love of life here and you have taken that position several times with your castigations of the evil right who care nothing for people according to you. Now you want to condemn and kill people on nothing more than news releases. If you are correct, good. If not, what then?

Fortunately, the choice of target allowed for some leeway. It was apparently a staging and storage area for the gas, possibly controlled not by Assad in its entirety. Minimal damage really; the runways went untouched. Analysis would show a controlled miss, meant to have provocative intent. The more I learn, the more clever it looks.

The US is not yet willing to admit it's error with the rebels and needs Assad out to save face. I don't think, however, Putin will comply. But the political message has been sent.

If it was up to Pete we'd blow.up the entire country, kill everone, and.hope we got all the bad guys. The innocents are just collateral damage to him. Of course to hear him tell it, he can tell them apart and could take out only the bad guys.

If you think about it, idiots like him are a good case for selective gun control.
