Back in the seventies, I sold encyclopedias door to door in Oklahoma, which means I could sell shoes to a snake.

Being a lousy salesman myself I can admire those who are good; as long as my wallet doesn't get too thin. Truthfully, I have never bought a time share but have purchased a few autos over the past 60 years of my driving life. Got stung once, hope it wasn't you. Even if it was, I believe in "buyer beware". Take care friend.

My father was a salesman. Sold Kirby vacuum sweepers and some brand of pots & pans. Hell, dad didn't now how to cook! But he sold 'um. Ya do what ya gotta do to survive. The 'snowflakes' today couldn't do the stuff we did to make it w/o living off parents

Florida Woman Stops Alligator Attack Using a Small Beretta Pistol:

This is a story of self-control and marksmanship by a brave, cool-headed woman with a small pistol against a fierce predator.

What’s the smallest caliber that you would trust to protect yourself? A Beretta Jetfire.

Here’s her story in her own words:

"While out walking along the edge of a pond just outside my house in The Villages with my soon to be ex-husband discussing
property settlement and other divorce issues, we were surprised by a huge 12-ft. alligator which suddenly emerged from the
murky water and began charging us with its large jaws wide open. She must have been protecting her nest because she was
extremely aggressive.

If I had not had my little Beretta Jetfire .25 caliber pistol with me, I would not be here today!"

"Just one shot to my estranged husband's knee cap was all it took.

The 'gator got him easily and I was able to escape by just walking away at a brisk pace.

It's one of the best pistols in my collection, plus the amount I saved in lawyer's fees was really incredible. His life insurance was a big bonus.

DonD: Is there any secret to gettin out of a timeshare? I've been ripped off with upgrades 3 times now and although I'm a slow learner, I'm just ready to get out. You can IM me or e-mail me if you prefer.
