And you of all people should know what gets done is by the decisions each country makes in spite of the UN " recommendationa".. Countries do actually speak to each other now sometimes even the World Leaders do it on their own...

To answer you, yes, I have absolute faith in Trump to drain many things..He's come in as the bulldog we need!! You know Putin better than I so I'll leave that to you to answer.. I say they both have do have the" protect my country" over all else so if we ever got on neutral territory oryx to have each other as distinct allies all the better.. Better an ally than enemy, right...

I agree. The priority for each president should be the defense of their own countries. The world is not ready for a one-world government. That doesn't mean the UN should go the way of the League of Nations.

Wikipedia: "After a number of notable successes and some early failures in the 1920s, the League ultimately proved incapable of preventing aggression by the Axis powers in the 1930s. Germany withdrew from the League, as did Japan, Italy, Spain, and others."
"The onset of the Second World War demonstrated that the League had failed in its primary purpose, the prevention of another world war. There were a variety of reasons for this failure, many connected to general weaknesses within the organisation. Additionally, the power of the League was limited by the United States' refusal to join."

The Russian Federation has tried, since its formation from the ashes of the Soviet Union, to use any legitimacy the UN has to help prevent further crises. But because of the dominance of Western powers, it has had little luck. The UN needs change, but not collapse.

Further study needs to be done, further examination of the past, and its explications for the future, besides the general "draining of the swamp" needed to confront corruption in the UN. And all countries of the world need to be a part of this.

Putin and Trump could be the instigating partners aiming for a new and better UN.

Read my most recent post, posting time: 19:48. There's partial explanations.

I agree Trump and Putin could but those other countries you refer do not have the clout or means to stand against their neighbors or even a desire.. They need to MAN up and start participating with their power rather than sitting back being absorbed by whom dictates over them... if we're truly going to impact the NWO movement or the ONE WORLD ORDER we need those countries with us...

Can it happen?? Yes, but not when propagandized by those groups working against the ones that do not want to see the further integration of such organizations...Yes??

Most of the rest of those DO want to do their part; it has been the overwhelming power residing in the US and other Western powers in the UN that have prevented them from taking a more active part.

Yes....thank you to the American citizens for getting out there and voting. I can't even imagine how it would be if Killary would've won. Look at Sterling Heights, Mi...This is growing so quickly I'm just not sure how we're going to stop it. But, where there's a will there's a way!!!

By that do you mean meddling in toppling other leaders only to wind up with worse in the Middle East???

What other western powers are you referring to?? Australia, Canada, Iceland, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, Switzerland, the United States and the countries of the EU???

I think, lj, the US uses its overwhelming financial and military power to bully the UN governing bodies to do its will. Did you ever notice how Ban Ki-Moon mostly mouthed whatever Ovomit was saying on the world stage?

It has mostly been the Ovomit people; but the arrogant American attitude that only a country instituting American-style democracy is a legitimate democracy has been a world policy stopper for decades.

And, yes, mostly those countries. Known as the "developed, or industrialized, countries".

Furthermore, the Russian Federation is the best positioned to join together the Eastern and Western hemispheres, geographically as well as culturally.

I don't doubt what you say about our financial influence or our screw you we're going to do as we please anyway... We've seen enough of that in just how we handled the Middle East...

What I do find interesting is Ban Ki-moon, the former United Nations chief, said on Wednesday that he would not run for the presidency of South Korea, a surprising announcement that deprived beleaguered conservatives of their likeliest candidate to succeed the country's sidelined leader, Park Geun-.. add this to the supposed call for BO to run in France where there is supposedly a movement for him to do so....I think we've got one screwed mess going on with plenty of hidden agendas in the making to topple Trump.. They would all prefer Pence because he's more the politician and Trump simply doesn't buy into it all.. He knows Criminal hill is worse than any of us can phantom even seeing what we did in the election process...

You mean BO as in Barack Hussein Ovomit? Hard to believe the French would vote for a black man. It could be they think he is the only candidate that could beat Le Pen. That may be a good sign.

You seem to be phishing too.

How was your day, by the way?

I envy you that you are still working.

I've had the feeling all day today that it was Sunday. Had to keep reminding myself that it is Monday. Now if I were working I would be able to tell the difference.
