Well said, Carol!!! We have taken care of way more than we can now do.. We are over extended and have tried for decades to teach and train in third world countries with no appreciable measure of enhancement... It must first start with them, their want for better, their discipline and their fight to attain from their government what they should have had along... Difficult when your looking at bullet for your cause... Unfortunately being content with nothing only fosters more of the same...

As you point out we are not the world "fixers" of everything going on..
America First, then do as we can... We should be insistent upon other countries stepping up at this point!! That's what is needed...

What countries come to our aid when in need??? Did they after 911?? Did they in our devastating hurricanes?? Do they help with the influx of illegals by at least stopping them ??

Do you know how many countries are now saying they won't take back their deported citizens?? Look for another EO from President Trump.. They sure are going to miss our humanitarian funding we give so freely even when we can't pay our 20 billion dollar debt..

That would never work! The blacks would continue to grow in numbers. Caucasians would use their common sense. We've tried this, back in the 60s. It reaches a point where there aren't enough whites to support the blacks. I'm sorry if anyone is offended but it's common knowledge. The government offered more money per illegitimate baby to the point they made more money staying home than working. This not a slur. I have heard them say they can make more money not working.

It is my opinion that we do not have refugees, only illegals. A refugee is escaping some kind of political persecution. These Muslims are not. They are here to take us over. A

Sweet Carol, it is still that way.. I donate some time to the women's shelter for women who have been beat near to death by their other half.. preparing motions for them or getting them into some kind of school, for training, or child support enforcement etc..I know first hand they are on welfare, get wick, get food stamps, residence, their electric bill paid, cell phone and income because they have children (one or more)and the more they have the more they get in subsidized income..

They don't keep appts I set up for them, with councelors or schools for their GED, they don't go to court when suppose to and or fill out the basic forms needed to help them on things I can not answer for them.. They will lie to you about the man, don't know where he is, where he works, if even still around.etc They will look you right in the eye and tell you I can't loose what I get now for the little that guy will never pay anyway and they can't work because they have 4-5-6 kids...Rewarded they are to stay home and have babies they don't even take care of as they should..I've had to call in Family Services more times than you can imagine because they are filthy, in dirty clothes, food limited because mom sells her food stamps, etc...it's a vicious cycle they prefer...

They don't want help... well, maybe now that things will be changing they will be motivated to better themself!

There are plenty of available programs but it's not wanted..Until they want the change you can not force them...

Yep. Overseas development would quite probably help far more people than flooding them into other parts of the world that will, eventually, look just like the places that these people are living in now. The 'floodgates' have been wide open throughout my life so I have no sense of what it was like before the 1960's. From what I know and have seen in historic presentations, it was far superior to anything I see now.

There are plenty of organizations that are devoted to development in 'third world' countries. OXFAM, CAFOD, 'Save the Children' to name a few. There are thousands listed here:

I don't disagree... programs provide for GED'S and even Jr College schooling yet they won't get up and go to a class and don't have a computer for on line courses or take a bus they are given passes to travel on to get to the nearest library and do it there..

Flip burgers, clean homes, etc... limit eligibility to continue only if these people are trying to help themself.. A trade school if nothing else...They pass and achieve then basic program help continues... They don't do it then benefits are terminated after their first qualifiers end..
