I mostly agree. I don't think it should be zero, because there are people that would be of immediate benefit to our country. Just nearly zero. Get a handle on what's already here. I don't think inspecting mosques would be Constitutional. It would open the door for all churches to be subject to this. Arresting employers who knowingly hire illegals is a definite need to. This is why we need E-Verify universally. Even people who try not to hire illegals can be fooled by good forged documents. Start executing illegals who commit capital crimes on US soil. Illegals who are dope mules should get a minimum of five years at hard labor. Bring back the chain gang. USE IT. Above all, make it very unpleasant to be an illegal in this country, or to knowingly hire them. No more "birthright citizenship." This does not require a constitutional amendment, the language for a legislative solution is already in the 14th Amendment. No more freebies for foreigners, even the ones who are here legally. Let's take care of our own first.

Perhaps you missed my other post on the previous page?? I did talk about admitting only those with proveable need and to limit our total immigration to 50k a year based only on that criteria too...Even 50k is too high to me I'd make it 20k.....(aw stop thinking what a biotc**** lolol)

On the mosques I understand what your sayings about constitutional issues but I'd still make it clear were going to do them randomly and if they don't like it close up business and take it elsewhere... where there is threat or imminent danger which there is, then I think as a matter of law it could be done just as we do with underground gun shops. Drugs etc???

I have done this repeatedly, but I will say it once more. It takes more than being born here to be a birthright citizen. Senator Jacob Howard of Michigan, who wrote theAmendment, said specifically it was only to guarantee full citizenship rights to former slaves and their progeny. He specifically said it did not include those here illegally or foreigners. If it did, then John Elk would have won Elk v Wilkins a few years later, in which the SCOTUS ruled that John Elk was not a citizen even though he was born here, because neither of his parents were citizens.
In US v Wong Kim Ark 1898, the SCOTUS ruled that Wong Kim Ark was a citizen, because although his parents were not yet citizens, they were in the process. In other words, they were here legally, not as temporary residents, but as permanent residents in the process of becoming citizens. I don't know how in the hell this can be misunderstood.
