Sixteen for sixteen. I especially appreciated the 'there, their and they're' question. That is an on-going problem on OPP. My biggest problems are usually with apostrophes in possessiveness, and when to use semi-colons.

I doubt proper grammar is linked at all to ideology, OldRoy.

Come on arch, tell the whole story. If Mrs. B hadn't helped you, what would your score have been!

Highly questionable, I would say, Mongo. But, I'm willing to give my buddy and fellow Texan the benefit of the doubt.

Though, on occasions (like the above)...your grammar, punctuation, spelling and language skills are terrifying.

BTW, good buddy, where is our 'precise discerner,' AuntiE regarding this thread She is the preeminent school-marm, and should be happier than a hog in slop with this discussion.

I fear that the last written thrashing I administered to her took the wind out of her sails. (Maybe that will draw her in. )

Archie have heard of this old song I can do this job all by myself ?

Carlisles (The)
Miscellaneous
No Help Wanted (1953)
Now I’ve got a gal from New Orleans
She’s the prettiest little thing that you ever have seen
She’s got a cute little walk with a hippity-hop
She’s big at the little and bottom at the top

(Do you need any help?) No help wanted
(Well you could use a little help) No help wanted
(Just call on me if you need a little help, do you need any help, do you need any help)
I can handle this job all by myself

Well I love my baby she’s a little bitty booger
Cute as a button and sweet as sugar
I’m gonna buy her a diamond ring
And we’ll get married in the spring

(Do you need any help?) No help wanted
(Well you could use a little help) No help wanted
(Just call on me if you need a little help, do you need any help, do you need any help)
I can handle this job all by myself

image: http://static.urx.io/units/web/urx-unit-loader.gif

Now she calls me her little piggy-wiggy
And I call her my little thing-a-ma-jiggy
Every time I ask her to kiss
I hear a little voice sound something like this

(Do you need any help?) No help wanted
(Well you could use a little help) No help wanted
(Just call on me if you need a little help, do you need any help, do you need any help)
I can handle this job all by myself

Well I’m a-gonna take her honky-tonking tonight
And we’re gonna do everything up right
When the music starts we’re gonna swing and sway
We’re gonna dance till the break of day

(Do you need any help?) No help wanted
(Well you could use a little help) No help wanted
(Just call on me if you need a little help, do you need any help, do you need any help)
I can handle this job all by myself

She wouldn't admit failing if she did. And...I wouldn't let her forget about it.
