Ahhhh, couldn't tell by the map I looked at (no scale shown) if it was Lincoln or Union. Union looked a little too far away judging from your first description.

You know, "llama momma" works just fine. Locally, I am known as the "Crazy Cat Lady," and I'm guessing not quite as nicely by some hunters who have the bad luck of their dogs wandering onto my farm, looking more than half starved. I'm always happy to call the hunters if the dog collar has a name on it and happy to provide enough dog food until the hunter shows up. Most of the hunters are good guys. Some tell me they have been looking for their dog(s) for at least a week. They get a pass. The others, well they show up for their dogs when they get "round to it" and I almost hate to turn their dogs back over to them, they look so pitiful. They also sometimes, if I'm really ticked off, get a lecture. They have the good grace not to say much back, because their dogs look SO bad, they can't deny how ill treated they are. I have four dogs.

You do understand...I hope, that I get residuals from any patent rights on "Llama momma"? :-D

It would only seem fair.

Well, I'll take it under advisement. My lawyers will get back to your lawyers. Oh, by the way, "the man" who heads up my team of those who opine in legalese goes by the moniker "Shark". Thought in total transparency and as a gesture of good will, I should make you aware of that.
 Yes, I see you trembling in fear, I do. Kindly do not attempt to tell me that my observation is flawed -- that you are really trying to not laugh your derriere off. I shall have none of it!!

When I free myself of laughter, I suggest we get together, just the two of us. We can, then, work an 'out of court' settlement agreeable to each of us...but favoring my interests!

Since my Dad was an attorney, and my buddy is a Judge, I think it best to keep the "sharks" out of the picture.
You'll find me easy to get along with...just let me have my way!

Well, sleep overtook me last night much earlier than I normally allow it to. Generally speaking, my mind takes to turning too many things at one time at night which tends to not let me sleep well. Last night was an exception.

I see your many concerns. If you were to look at topics that pop up daily, you would see that a great many people are mad and frustrated and have no idea where to go with their anger. I think that's why a lot of people come to this site. They need a place to vent. I am curious, because I only get things from the different networks, heck, I don't even get a newspaper any more, curious about the kinds of folks you chat with and where some of your ideas come from. I am a firm believer in God, but I stay away from organized religion. I see that you are reverent and wish for God to basically save us from ourselves. I sometimes say that prayer myself. Some on this site get angry with me when I ask why they think the way they do. They think, I suspect, that I am trying to insult them, but I'm not. I leave folks alone any more who are always angry because their anger leaves no room for anything else. Well, shall close for now. Need to check on how the mechanic is coming with my truck.

Hey, I voted for Obama twice, not always happy these days with "The Man". I defended Obama, until recently for what seems forever. I hope that OPP will surprise you and you will at least gain a different and more reasoned view of those who disagree with you and come to see why they feel the way they do. Instead of giving a response of "don't you people ever give up?" you might have taken the time to state "why" you disagree. My point of view, mind you. Think about it. If we only "yell" at one another, what purpose does that serve?

 I have perhaps engaged my mouth before my brain, and I allowed myself the luxury of jumping to a false conclusion. Very sorry for the knee-jerk reaction. However, and know that obviously, the pot is rather calling the kettle black here, change your words, change the world.

I voted for Obama twice too, mostly because I felt I had no other choice, frankly, I don't understand why you feel my response is "unreasoned" have you noticed the lack of sanity in the typical far right wing point of view? just look at the government shutdown over Obama care, the nonsense with the Benghazi thing, the "Obama gonna take my gun" panic, and the "fast and delirious" foolishness, you tell me there's not something bad wrong with folks like that, of course it's just my opinion and I welcome anyone to disagree with it, that's what makes discussion groups interesting, much more so then folks just sitting around agreeing and hi fiving each other, again, just my opinion.

Ahhhh, you sly silver tongued devil, you!! You cannot fool me. Wolf in sheep's clothing, you are!! I shall not be intimidated either. FYI, I once upon a time lived in the hallowed corridors of a law firm. A 60-hour work week toiling for a partner and one of his associates taught me many skills, so tread carefully. :?

Oh, I voted for Obama for the same reasons you did and yes, I see a whole lot wrong with the reasoning, or lack thereof, of some who think quite different than I do --a lot of folks who post here. The point I was trying to make, and you will more often than not see that when you read a post that is just a ticked off finger pointing statement, you will have no idea "why" or how they came to the conclusions they have and then they just turn around and insult you for asking in the first place. You are also right, chummy hi fiving doesn't give you a window into anyone else's soul who might think differently from you. However, there is also nothing wrong with joking around and hi fiving sometimes with people you do not necessarily agree with. Common political understanding sometimes begins with common ground of another sort. I have also discovered that people who do not rant on this site, can be patient with another's viewpoint if they choose to be, and are willing to have interesting conversations if you respectfully answer them back. Does it work all the time? Nope. Just my opinion. I suspect that I won't have a lot to disagree with you about. You might even find me in your corner from time to time. A belated "welcome aboard." Where were my manners.
