I think the key word is "protecting our freedom". There have been plenty killed, just not dying for the freedom of this country. And you are right. I would say that those who died at Ft. Hood and the Tennessee recruiting station died engaging our enemies and thus protecting the freedoms of this country. I would also agree with Nick that we halve killed needless millions and in listening to Trump we are going needlessly kill millions more...

What irony Linda. You do realize that tariffs are a liberal idea that was abandoned decades ago as a false way to manipulate the economy. First, import tariffs cost you money and second export tariffs cost you jobs. It's a lose lose proposition which is why the congress would be hard pressed to pass them and absolutely drilled by business if they did.

How do you conservatives fall for this bullshit so easily? Are you really so young that you don't remember the 1980's. Here's what bothers me--if conservatives give up on free market capitalism then who is going to fight for it? Did you know that under Bill Clinton's presidency this country produced over 22 million jobs in the 8 years he was president? That's the most created in a 8 year period, period!!! As Spicer would say. My local Blockbuster was paying $10 (min wage was $4.50) and still couldn't find people to work there. Imagine that, twice minimum wage and still can't find anyone to hire. It doesn't matter if we keep meaningless factory jobs when our economy has always been built by creating future technology. Why the fuk do you people always want to go backwards? What makes America great is by doing the things that make America great and going backwards and trying to hang onto a few measly factory jobs just ain't what this country has ever been about.

What Trump should be doing is not promising people something we don't want to happen but instead train people for what we do want to happen. It's the next generation economy that we want to train for not trying to bring back menial jobs that we discarded decades ago. Trump isn't a businessman. Hes the perfect political hack who got people to vote for him by making promises that we don't want him to keep. That's what politicians do Linda not what a business man does. But what would have happened if he had stood there and said we have to forget about our lost jobs, instead we need to concentrate on what jobs we are going to have in the future and train you for those? Well, a conservative Congress would never pay to retrain workers and two Trump would have heard crickets if ever he stated that. Forget about Trump being a businessman. He's a corny Capitalist who's been a politician in training as long as he's been alive. And again, if you guys no longer believe in capitalism than just who the fuk do you think should? Yeah, boy, tariffs were great. That's why even liberals no longer believe in them...

Just because your leftist policies you cheer on these forum post, have for decades proven to fail, conservatives reconized their failings and finally have a president of action. Compared to most every president in history that focuses on 2,3,4, or even 5, or 6 policies, Trump will be implementing that many every week, and sometimes in a single day.
