In school I did not appreciate History, now I can't get enough of it...
The snowflakes don't even have real history in school anymore... The progressives have seen to it...
Funny how that works, I too "hated" history and found it soooo boring. I just came back a few months ago from a 17 month trip accross the U.S. and the theme........culture, history, and food. The "history was amazing.
I would advise anyone seeking travel to other countries, "first try exploring your own country first ".

I think the key word is "protecting our freedom". There have been plenty killed, just not dying for the freedom of this country. And you are right. I would say that those who died at Ft. Hood and the Tennessee recruiting station died engaging our enemies and thus protecting the freedoms of this country. I would also agree with Nick that we halve killed needless millions and in listening to Trump we are going needlessly kill millions more...
Factually, you are wrong. The USA has nt killed needless millions. The USA has been the most benign of nations in was and has not exacted any major revenge. The millions needlessly were murdered by Mao, Stalin and Hitler. I refer you to this website to learn something about which you appear to be exceptionally uneducated.
