His fur will be protecting Mrs. Bunker's lovely busom from the cold winter air. Next, we go for Bambi, and Porkey!😈

"Porky" means we also feast on greasy grit gravy and gizzard greens, pig fat pie and Bobo beans. Now I'm really getting hungry. Wife, get up please and make us a tuna fish malt or a tall glass of cold pork chop gravy. Don't forget a large spoon full of ice cold yellow chicken fat. Life is good here in the land of plenty!

To tell me???

I won't be ordering it anymore..What you just told me is what I'll see on my plate now... BRAT..... 😲

Was a time veal was a newborn, slaughtered within days. Now the poor critter gets fattened up first. More money on the hoof that way and the meat's practically the same. I ate veal regularly many years ago, enjoyed it immensely. Then I found out where it comes from. Haven't touched it since. Disgusting.

Veal once was a calf that had only supped on mother's milk before being slaughtered. I'll substitute for a good range fed steak.

I remember back in the winter of '72, things got plenty tough on all us mountain folk. We had an old hog named Hamlet lived in the barn. Well, after a couple of weeks on the hard tack, old Hamlet started looking mighty tasty, but none of us could quite bring himself to 'do the deed' and put him on the table. Well, a few more days went by and he really started looking better and better. Eventually the temptation was just too much, and that's how Hamlet came to have only three legs. Damn sure was tasty though.

Lamb from a grocery store after being run through a slaughter house is not the same meat as one that is killed while calmly grazing with a bullet placed through its brain and then bled. A Wyoming Greek Game Warden friend of mine, years ago now deceased, put me on to this information. There are more sheep in Wyoming than cattle. And there is no better judge of a plump sheep on the hoof than a coyote.

Yeah....sad it is. Won't eat veal, but she'll swaller a raw, booger looking thing right out of its own shell!😝😝

You shall indeed be blessed for your benevolence and kindness. But there are still too many hogs with two legs.

You're a sicker puppy than me. I don't much care about the newborn slaughter thing. That's quick and relatively painless. What bothers me is the downright torture these poor animals are subjected to when being fattened up. That, to me, is unconscionable, and totally unnecessary.
