You do not need to pay them (per say) when you volunteer for work details you are given " good Time " extra time off sentence .

You're right, I've never been to prison. Spent a week in jail once but that was a case of mistaken identity. Took 'em a week to figure it out. I didn't like it then and have no desire to go back. Didn't like the food and the TV sucked. They never tried to get me to slave for them though. I get it now, I think: You work for nothing (slavery, no matter how you 'spin' it), and for being a good slave, you get to go home earlier than the judge said you would? That's like a robber telling you if you hand your wallet over quietly, he'll only take 'most' of it. Nope. Not me. I was born a free man and regardless of how I may find my corporeal form limited, my thoughts will always be free. I was reading recently about a guy named David Roland Hinkson: In 2004, he was sentenced to 40-some years on a false charge and has been in a maximum security Federal prison ever since. The book is titled "A Cesspool of Judicial Corruption-The David Hinkson Story".

At Hinkson's trial, the judge applied the 'Presumption of Government Regularity and Correctness', giving the accusations of a known liar and perjurer greater credence than a successful businessman because 'government'. Download the pdf version here:

David Hinkson wouldn't bow to these tyrants and neither would I.

Here's a thought. What if, instead of paying a contractor to build the wall at Federally mandated wage levels (which, by the way, are outrageously expensive), just offer these convicts half that amount and see if they're interested. Heck, that might even fly.. As an aside, if I were being locked up in a cage 24 hours a day and the head jailer came to me with the order that I was going to provide the labor needed to build a wall or anything else, I'm afraid he probably wouldn't like my answer. Ask, and offer remuneration, and ye may receive. Demand, and ye get the finger...

If what we know of Trump is true, then a more likely scenario is that he will contract to have the wall built, then, finding that its impact on illegal immigration is negligible, decide that the workers were at fault and refuse to pay them.

Show some evidence of that...we have heard this garbage now show some evidence.

You loons love to just spit out any lie that fits your agenda. By the way, Mr. Fudgepacker, your immoral lifestyle is as bad if not worse than "stiffing" a bill owed to someone...(no pun intended).

I bet you keep your "rhoid" doctor well paid.....by Obama care which means YOU are a social and financial LEECH...well I guess that is par for your course as a Gay Gobbler as leeches suck as much as you do!

His book and story is very interesting and sad at the same time.

However, if you were locked up...and doing a 20 year sentence...someone offers to cut your sentence by about 40 percent if you do hard labor work...I'd think you would pick it over doing your 20 years...some may not...bet most would.

Another thought. Have all the illegals that are in jails or holding facilities build the wall and pay them minimum wage. If they escape across the border who cares.

Pay them room and board, or pay them the going rate for prison work details.

Yes the judicial system is unfair to say the least , if you do not have connections and money you will be on the railroad to incarceration . On the other hand what is the answer ??? Criminals must be punished .. I was doing 6 months (county jail 3rd DUI) was offered trusty status , instead of sitting on a bunk , no tv , reading or playing board games with punks and thugs I was moved to pod with other trusty , better food , work outside jail doing maintenance and reduced sentence .. If you've got to be there anyway it is the logical path .

The wall is not needed.
Cheaper to build a tower every 1000 yards manned with patriotic veterans armed with a sniper rifle and instructions not to shoot at anyone traveling south. Problem solved.

I still like my idea of guillotines with pay-per-view beheadings. We are looking at a potential gold mine here.

Pay per view? Seriously? Why not free broadcast for all to enjoy? I mean, by all means, sell tickets for ringside seats but the televised event should be free. Advertising will easily pay for the broadcast. Y'know, like the Superbowl...
