And another thing, I am NO ONE's sacrifice. That is another part of Scriptures that I have never cared for.
I have said, maybe about two years ago, that I will not try to change another's religious beliefs, UNLESS I find that they aggravate suffering, and not mitigate them. Still, you have a choice. And you can't change that.

A true Christian, once he becomes aware of his (narcissistic) attitude, might feel a little shame, or even, perhaps, remorse. Remember what "I" said? Shame is what you feel when you THINK you have displeased others; remorse is what you feel when you KNOW you've displeased yourself.
