I hadn't thought of the possibility that nursing home votes could be voted by workers in the homes for all the inhabitants. It does appear that if the women wanting a recount may cause Trump to gain votes.

During the last two elections, nursing homes and hospitals were considered good spots for picking up easy votes.... why would this time be different? Some states have laws on registering individuals with diminished capacity, but states like California and Nevada do not have a problem with people institutionalized for cognitive failure, or taking a last dying wish to vote. According to the CDC, there are about 8,357,100 in long term care facilities and hospice.... that is a huge pool of potential voters!

Trump tweeted: President-elect Donald Trump alleged Sunday (11/27/16), without evidence, that "millions of people" voted illegally for Hillary Clinton and otherwise he would have won the popular vote.

Seems like nursing homes, are filled with old people that could be exploited, which is what Trump did to get elected-he exploited a demographic. He isn't any different than the "frantic" liberals or the frantic feminists that voted for Hillary. Bernie Sanders was the only Adult among the candidates and we chose one spoiled baby over the other.

It is almost impossible to find out who voted for whom, unless one goes to the registration documents and compares votes to registration. I do not think many or any state is willing to do this. Mr Sanders was cheated, there is no getting around this. Had the primaries been fair, it is possible (if not probable) the race would have been much closer. And it is possible he would be the one planning his nominations and making arrangements to move. To the shock of the democrats, we now have a new approach to government, and all Americans should hope, and if you are religious, pray for his success. As he is successful, so will be America. Second, only a foolish person would think that voter fraud has not or does not occur. It happens, whether be by the individual who has something to gain or by the person who is so passionate about their candidate is not material. What is important is to find a method, while protecting privacy, ensures fair elections. And we can not disenfranchise the elderly, just because a person is old or is in a extended care facility, does not mean they are all senile and incapable of making informed decisions. The matriarch of my family is pushing 100, but she is far from senility... she has a full time nurse who is there to wait on her hand and foot; we, her family, want her years to be filled with happiness and for her to be safe and she is clear minded and still reads a book a week...time has ravished her body, not her mind. The problem arises when a paid helper goes into nursing homes or even door to door to register voters... the ones who, as mentioned above may be very passionate about their candidate or have other motives.... like being paid for completed reregistration forms. To be honest, I think that all four parties were guilty of some less than honorable actions in this election and in the past two. Nothing can be done about the past; but we should find better ways of doing business that is honest, fair, and keeps with state and federal laws. In short, we need a type of voter ID.... and I think now, the left side of politics are beginning to understand why.

Voted myself absentee from the hospital, I was very very ill. The nurses aids, most black, asked if I voted R , and I said yes. they puffed up and said they were voting BHO. They were all happy when he won, and my remark was, that they'd be sorry as the tax implications came home to roost. They smirked, yet when i was leaving the hospital a couple of months later, they were moaning that I was right and asking that I employ them for home nursing care until I was fully recovered......did not hire any of them.......

Beyond anything else, I am so happy you recovered! I trust you were restored and enjoy full health!

There are many that voted for BHO that I am sure had a harsh wake up call. It is early to say, but those who voted D will be pleased that our new President will turn our nation around. I was watching CNN, because I can not get FOX, and they made an astonishing claim... if Mr. Trump keeps going, there will be a shortage of people to take the jobs saved and created under his administration. How big of a turn around in our economy that will make! Of course, these are the same foolish people who said he did not have a snowballs chance of winning the election. I pray for him.... as he succeeds, so will we as American citizens!
