We were discussing Trump and his possible presidency and reasons it would be a bad idea. We were not discussing Cuba and Castro. I suspect, however, that opening up Cuba to receive more US exports of agricultural products would help some US famers and might help our balance of trade a small bit. And how long do you think we should have had this prohibition about spending money in Cuba ? What's the point ? Don't forget that we were the ones who tried to invade Cuba years ago, and that Cuba wasn't trying to invade us.
