The way I see it is that unless there is irrefutable evidence that police acted improperly, they should be given the benefit of a doubt. Especially when you consider the suspects criminal record. So many people are inclined to believe the worst. The police are the only thing protecting us. They deserve our support, and our profound thanks.

It doesn't change the fact that police officers are, for the most part, just like you and me. They have families. They go to Church. They donate to charity. I'm sure that many of them hate what is happening just as much as you do, but are powerless to change it. What do you suggest we do about it?

Even on the dash cam I didn't see any gun, although some of the action takes place to the left outside the coverage. The dash cam is supposed to be the evidence of the gun I believe.

Does anyone see a gun?

I do. If there is positive evidence that a cop does wrong, the cop should be treated as anyone else would be. But until people stop the knee jerk jumping to conclusions, there will be trouble.

If cops are to be treated like everyone else then they also are innocent until proven guilty.

Some of these shootings could be avoided if people would obey a cop's directions, but if you slap a bear, you get bitten.
