[quote=Ricko]Morgan-great post ! This is an amazing young man. I agree that the Police sometimes overreact and end up killing as opposed to disabling. If Alton had to be shot to control him, the police officer could have shot him in shoulder thus preventing him from drawing a weapon. I believe we need to change how Police Departments work in this country. We need to totally eliminate the use of the quota system so that people do not end up losing their lives over broken taillights. To require that police officers make a certain number of stops/arrests might bring in a few dollars in fines but that is quickly eaten up by multi-million dollar wrongful death lawsuits levied against officers and municipalities. The individual police officer is doing the job for which he/she signed up and it is up to the authorities to modify the system and provide additional training. Good Luck America !!![/quote

This man had no gun drawn, he was down, why did they feel the need to shoot h so many times until he was about dead or was dead? Why don't they just save all the bullets and shoot him in the head if they just want to be done with it. They couldn't just wound him?

This is truly a sad situation and the young man video was moving . All of you who promote this shoot to wound B.S. will be tending a grave site from the root cellar if ever in a situation similar to this one , the dead guy was known because of his long rap sheet .I nor you can read what actions someone will take, do you expect cops to read every situation correctly all the time every time .. If you can do a better job then go for it ...Sorry the dude is dead , sorry his son lost his father. I wonder , is the investigation over ? are there charges ?
