The attack in Orlando was a horrific hate crime against the LGBT community fostered by the warped dogma of fundamentalist religion and the easy availability of powerful high capacity firearms to marginal members of society. The solution to all of this is obvious, everyone entering a nightclub or bar should be handed a loaded loaner gun that they turn in when they leave. This would save many lives if it were required all over the country.

I strapped my gum on this morning, went to town, I was there doing some banking and shopping. Got the car lubed, went to lunch. Seen an early movie. Had coffee with a retired Cop friend of mine, He also carries. And not one time during the whole day I was in town, did my gun get out of its holster and shoot any one. Nope, not once. I checked. It just stayed in its holster where I put it. And when I got home, I put it back in my gun safe. It never complained all day. Imagine that.
