Maybe so, but we can do better than Trump. Making a profession out of litigation and debt-leveraging is no way to run a country. So in reality, a Trump presidency would likely be just more of the same.

I don't see a presidency by Trump as being more of the same. He is so much more deceitful and so narcissistic that I am frightened at the thought. I am not a follower of Hillary but, if she wins the Democratic nomination, I will vote for her In this case, it is voting for the lesser of two evils.

PeterS, Bernie is slier and more divisive that you believe. Recall that he was the first Independent to gain a seat in Congress. He had everything stacked against him right from the beginning. So, in order to become more participatory, he became known as the "Amendment King." He is credited with many laws being passed - through amendments to bills. Having gained this position, he is highly respected on both sides of the aisle. I'm sure he will be able to bring about important changes. He has an exceptional mind, a firm standing and cleverness on his side in addition to the experience he has gained in both the House and Senate.

PeterS-Yes, I am aware of him having to work with congress. However, as an outsider he can either persuade them to do the right thing or shame them into so doing. I believe Trump will ultimately put on paper 10 significant and important items that the people want done . He will have to coordinate with congress to ensure that these are doable prior to listing them. Once that is done, if he gets resistance from the other side he can take to the airways and expose those congressmen/women by name thus letting the people know who is obstructing what they want done. In turn the constituents can put pressure on their representative. I am talking about the list of 10 major items and other significant endeavors and not every bill that comes through congress. Aside from that, he can initiate transfer the dept of education back to the States thus eliminating that bureaucracy. The same thing should be done with Medicaid. He can initiate action to eliminate waste, fraud and abuse. He can take steps to get rid of public sector unions which do not have any place in government. Either the employees accept the salaries offered by the government for the jobs which they are seeking or go to the private sector. As a businessman, he can pay attention to the bottom line and ensure that prices most favorable to the government are negotiated as opposed to paying $700.00 for a hammer. He can be a watchdog for the taxpayer which we have not had in many decades. If elected, I believe Trump will be the hardest working president we have ever had. His ego will not allow him to fail us. The man has accomplished much of what he has set out to do in life and has nothing to prove to anyone. We need to give him the opportunity to serve. Good Luck America !!!

That it is. And this is what shouldn't be tolerated any longer, that is supporting what we don't want and know guarantees "bad" or "worse" out of fear. Fear of what? Actual change, it would seem.

I must disagree with you. Bernie has already stated that if Hillary desires the support of his followers, "she must work for it!" On the other hand, should Clinton get the nomination, Bernie will back her (after getting some concessions) because he ultimately dislikes Trump and, as he said, "will do anything to fight Trump." Therefore he will personally work against Trump. He has stated that "he can't make decisions for his followers." It is Bernie's actions that probably will influence his follower but he will not allow himself to straight out TELL them what to do. To me, that defines a "true independent."

Alicia-I fully agree that Bernie will not tell his supporters what to do but when he lends his support to Hillary it will be a signal for them to follow suit. Bernie is a good person and means well but he could never get his agenda through congress. I would much prefer Bernie to Hillary in the Oval Office. He is viewed as being honest and trustworthy just a little too far out of the mainstream for most voters. Bernie is working hard but the deck is stacked against him in such a fashion that he cannot win . I believe the primary system on both sides of the aisle is fatally flawed and designed to ensure that the establishment retains control. That needs to be changed so that candidates like Bernie can compete on a level playing field. The people need to retake this country and the only way it happens is with an outsider. Elect any professional politician and nothing changes because it would disrupt their comfort zone. Good Luck America !!!

You could say he's the least-connected to the Establishment; he couldn't have maintained in office this long without occassionally lying down with the dogs and getting his share of fleas. But he's definitely not an anybody's "most corrupt" list, unlike the two frontrunners.

I know someone who attended Trump University. She loved it and Trump. She was able to buy a $1,000,000.00 house outside of Atlanta with what she learned. What I do know is that all of the people who attended signed a "report card" saying it was a good course, they learned a lot and gave it an A. Then, either because they didn't apply what they learned, or they were bought, they brought a lawsuit against Trump. Because he is a billionaire and they saw a chance to extort money from him. Moreover, the plaintiffs are represented by a law firm who has contributed heavily to Hilliary. The judge is a Mexican who doesn't like Trump over the illegal immigration issue. Trump said they have asked him for a settlement, but he is going to go to trial. If he is willing to go to trial and not settle, doesn't that tell you that he is innocent of the charges and will win the case? Believe me, Hilliary is all out to get Trump and she is not honest. She will go to any means she deems necessary to make him look bad.

Trump is not deceitful and he is not narcissistic. You listen to the libtards too much. Prove that he is either of those things. You can't. A vote for Hilliary is a vote against America. Don't be an idiot, please. Trump is running for President because he truly loves America. Hilliary is running for President because she loves power, and has the New World Order Agenda to push. Trump already has a marvelous life and does not need the headache, but he loves America and Americans. He will take care of us, even doubter you. Don't be an idiot and listen to libtards.

Bernie never even had a job before he became senator. He has been promoting communism since he was in high school. Socialism is just another word for communism. Veneszuela has proved that it doesn't work. Look at what is going on there. But, he is giving Hilliary a run for her money. How will Bernie protect Americans and American values? He doesn't have a clue.

Trump is not corrupt. Trump is not a racist. Trump is not whatever else Hilliary and her lying press pushes. Trump is a good and kind man. He has built a tremendous company. You need to quit listening to libtard media and libtards.

My comment was meant for Trump but applies to Bernie too. What you fail to realize is that the right is guided purely by ideology and the good of the country can go to hell. They will no more work with Bernie than they would Satan himself--and if I were placing odds it would be on Satan not Bernie. Sorry, but I don't see that either have a shot...

And you don't think your rhetoric is influenced by right wing-media and your fellow minions? Trump loves himself too much to have anything to give others. And who gives a fu#k about his company? Hell, he won't even disclose the finances necessary to see if he's built anything or not. If he's actually built something why is he so intent on hiding it from the public? He's a conman and nothing more and you've bought into it hook line and sinker. Congrats. Now do you feel better...

No, there is no right-wing media. Don't you see what is going on? I cannot believe that anyone who has a brain can believe all this bull about Trump!
