I've read some history relating to the Antebellum South. I've commented: If I could jump in a time machine and dial back to any, American, Period and have any station in life I imagined, I'd want to be the scion of a large plantation owner, at the beginning of the 19th century. I also learned that, often, the Irish would be used, rather than valuable slaves, when the work was dangerous, as when loading the holds/hulls (help me out here some of you navy men) of ships.
Could this be what so many want when they say I want our country back.
You had better look around. Being White don't keep you from being a slave.
When you look at Blacks as a source of todays problems your missing the PROBLEM.
We all have become slaves to the Money Changers. The PROBLEMS we all face will not fade until ALL PEOPLE are seen as being important to the system.
If you feel that you are getting less than you deserve you may well be right.
In a system that rewards money over human effort that is the result.
You get less because the low regard for Human effort is what drives the system.
A system that says some deserve to get back more than they put in leaves some to get back less than they put in.
Our value system is screwed up & the anger being shown is misplaced.
