And you seem to be naturally obnoxious. So what does attacking people on a personal level have to do with veterans? It is fair to say that you probably write each check from your accounts. But, that is not true of people who have accountants. The speed of payment, well perhaps you have a valid complaint, but four months is not a long time, when you consider that the government takes years to review an application from a veteran. Veterans have to wait months and sometimes years to get a medical appointment, even those who are suicidal. Is this due to slow payment (4 months) from a fundraiser, or is this a wider problem? Around 300,000 veterans have died while on a wait list for a VA appointment. Indeed, in one case, a veteran who applied for VA care in 1998 was placed in "pending" status for 14 years. Another veteran who passed away in 1988 was found to have an unprocessed record lingering in 2014, the investigation found. Is this a fallout from delayed disbursement from the Trump fundraiser?

Do you think The Donald or Radical Republicans really care aboit Vets? They wrap The Flag around themselves in patriotic ectasy. After shows over they politely go to the bathroom. Do their business. Then flush Old Glory down the toilet. They don't even wash their hands afterwards. Here"s The Deal!

There is no real plan to help veterans. The Republican pitch to voters is that Trump is just going to shake things up. Judging from Trump’s inability to keep a basic promise to donate money to vets, the shakeup will be bad.

Donald Trump doesn’t take his commitment to veterans seriously. If Trump can’t respect the sacrifices of those who put their lives on the line for their country, he can’t be trusted to be Commander In Chief. http://www.politicususa.com/2016/05/24/trump-spits-eyes-veterans-lie-fundraiser.html

An obvious lie.

The title of your thread is "Stinking Vets."

So we know you're lying because you have no respect for vets.

You couldn't even get accepted into the boy scouts.

And they're accepting faggots now.

Have your Dad retired yet? Or is he still bending over?

The amount of money raised in that fund raiser was 5.5 million. Mr. Trump actually has been generous in years past to our veterans, to the sum of over 3 million dollars.

Do you think that the shameful conditions at veterans hospitals happened because Mr. Trump's bookkeepers has taken 4 months to make payment disbursement? Or should we be looking at how the government has "awarded" pay raises to both active duty and retired? Or perhaps the amount of money provided for surviving spouses by our government? Do you think there would be a desperate need for fund raisers if our government cared more about our veterans? The veteran homeless rate is still high, 47,725 veterans are homeless on any given night, and this number has grown in the past seven years. Today, the number of homeless Vietnam War veterans exceeds the number of men who died in combat in Southeast Asia, according to data from the VA’s CHALENG study on veteran homelessness.

A very wise man, and esteemed president is quoted: "the willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional to how they perceive the veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their nation"-President George Washington. Do you think that a 1 percent increase in military pay and benefits will encourage this willingness? Or are you thinking that Mr. Trump had something to do with this enforced poverty level?

Perhaps not, perhaps your service is longer than mine of 35 years, active and as a civilian employee. Also, I think that my 42 years of working with homeless to include veterans may be a small qualifier. But, again, is this thread about me or is it about how horribly veterans are treated by our government and your original complaint about Mr. Trump's disbursement of funds raised for veterans? And in the end, who should be taking care of our veterans? And do have they earned more than a 1 percent cost of living increase....

Okay, then let's talk about today. By the time you get this response about 10 veterans will have killed themselves.... or 22 each day. Tonight a surviving spouse will choose between eating dinner or staying warm. Tomorrow a child of a vet will eat at their school using a voucher. And tonight over 200,000 vets will find a place to sleep under a bridge. Is that recent enough for you?

No I don't I think it is, more to the cause and effect of our congress, if they were to actually agree on supporting our vets why would he alone veto it, think about it. If you want to blame someone, lets put it where it belongs. This constant bipartisan only hurts all of us.

Don't change the subject punk.

You joined OPP in 2014 and you've never mentioned anything about a military career.

Now suddenly you're a retired vet.

You're a lying sack o' crack....spook !
