If the Saudis were involved in the planning and execution of 9/11, would they be so stupid as to use mostly Saudis as the hijackers?
That would point the finger at them. It's more likely the real perpetrators knew they could use the false evidence they manufactured against the Saudis anytime they wish.
No one outside the inner circle of perpetrators knows whether any hijackers were on the planes. Airliners can be hijacked by remote control and flown into buildings by remote control.
