Oklahoma senator introduces bill defining abortion as murder
Fr. Mark Hodges Tue Mar 8, 2016

OKLAHOMA CITY, March 8, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) – An Oklahoma state senator has introduced legislation that labels abortion as "first degree murder."

State Senator Joe Silk, a Republican, has proposed adding killing a pre-born child to Oklahoma's murder law. "A person commits murder in the first degree when that person performs an abortion as defined by ... the Oklahoma Statutes," the proposed amendment reads.

The bill seeks to protect children from the moment of conception, stating flatly, "No person shall perform or induce or attempt to perform or induce an abortion after conception."

The proposed legislation is a response to a major pro-life petition, signed by over 30,000 Oklahomans.

"[W]e hereby respectfully demand that our state government stop protecting the murder of children by abortion within its jurisdiction and establish justice for all pre-born human beings in our state," the Oklahoma petition stated.

Is it possible we can pray the Holy Ghost into the heart of some? It would be refreshing to see just one stand up for right, stand against the Soros destruction machine. Stand for human dignity, freedom, and right. More than ever we must be in prayer.

We ask, protect our homeland, Lord. Turn evil into good and have all evil intent backfire on the perpetrators. We know our need, Lord, and it lies in Your presence, and Yours alone. This we ask in Jesus name, thanking You and praiseing You. Amen

After nearly 2 years of enjoying ALL of you here and the diverse thoughts and stands you all have made, it's time for me to try and put it all in one and simple to understand thread:

If you think that having a college degree, whether it be an associate degree or PhD, makes you smarter than the homeless man with a 2nd grade education, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you cannot conceive that the left wing and the right wing are both attached to the same bird, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you think that 9/11 was the fault of Bill Clinton or George Bush or Islamic radicals or a "conspiracy" by the CIA or anything other than America turning it's back on God, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you think that the 2 party system was not a carefully designed system to keep us divided for the upcoming takeover by those who wish to control us and distract us from the truth, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you think that technology is evolving and advancing for the better of mankind, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you think that Islamic extremism has been put into place by those who want to either advance the caliphate or be used as a tool by the globalists to control the people, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you think that Obama was elected by stupid people and do not realize that he is there for a reason and also do not understand how Americans could possibly elect such a phony, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you think that same-sex marriage is merely society evolving for the better of mankind, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you think that the "good ole days" are gone for good and that the "best is yet to come" is non-existent, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you think that Patriotism, Liberty, and love of Freedom is what it's all about, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you think that a utopian society where everyone is comfortable with everything that society offers, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you think that helping the less fortunate with compassion, conviction, and genuinely having concern for all mankind is all you need to make you good person, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you think that the statement "there is no one on earth that is more or less fortunate than the next" is a false statement, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you think that Israel can be defeated, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you think that all people on this planet don't have the same opportunity regardless of their race, gender, belief in their faith of choice, country they live in, health issues they struggle with, or anything you deem making them less fortunate, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you think that America is the only hope for the world, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you are sitting on the fence and kind of believe there is a God, but not completely sure, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you claim to be a Christian and think you are "saved" because you go to church every Sunday or Saturday for that matter, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

If you think that I am of full of beans and do not know what I'm talking about, you will most likely perish in the upcoming battle.

And finally.....

If you turn your life, entirely, over to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, welcome Him into your heart, confess your sins to Him and repent for them, and KNOW that He IS the Son of God and died on the cross for YOU, you will never perish and will remain by His side throughout eternity in the most spectacular place in the universe......heaven.

Kind of hard to conceive, isn't it?
Actually, not if you see what is REALLY going on in this world.
It has been predicted for centuries and is now right in front of you in these present times.

The battle I continuously mentioned is not of flesh and blood, but instead is the battle of souls.

I'd like to thank anyone who has read "my finale thread" and wish you all God's Blessings in search for the truth.

I will still be joining in on other posts here, but after writing this thread, there is really not much more I can say.

In Christ,
Brian

True but they would be court cases and would mandate counseling as well wouldn't they? To often the mothers are talked into an abortion by the abortion clinics without the proper counseling that she should have. There are also adoption facilities as well aren't there?

Counseling under all circumstances is good, but not if it's one sided from like "Planned Parenthood." (Isn't that the ugly on?) Let's face it, a pregnant 12 year old, in my mind should not have to carry to term. The mental consequences, and bodily changes can cause life-long scars. They are still children. Too many 'children' today have to be adults because of absent parents - drugs, or whatever. They may feel a baby will love them, but, they are not mature enough to give that baby stability - so it ends up two unstable people.

Verse of the Day for Sunday March 13th, 2016:

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." — Galatians 3:13

Thoughts on Today's Verse....

Cursed! Not just in the sense that he was mocked and his detractors cursed at him, but in the sense that he received the curse of death because of our sin. He did what was hideous and scandalous; he died on a Cross — hung to a tree in front of a jeering mob, executed like sub-human scum. But the beauty of his shame and disgrace is that God made it our redemption. Jesus' ridicule and curse bought us freedom from the curse of our own sins. Praise God! Praise Jesus!

My Prayer...

Almighty Father, I can't even pretend to fathom your ways and why you would require of yourself such a horrific sacrifice to redeem me. Precious Savior, I can't imagine what it was like to hang before a mob carrying the sin of the whole world. All I can do is ask the Holy Spirit to make my thoughts and words convey the gratitude of my heart as he intercedes for me now. Thank you! Praise you! May my life truly honor you! In the mighty name of Jesus, I praise. Amen.

Verse of the Day for Monday March 14th, 2016:

He appointed twelve — designating them apostles — that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons. — Mark 3:14

Thoughts on Today's Verse....

While there are many intriguing and fascinating thoughts in this short sentence, the one phrase that touches my heart is this one: "... that they might be with him ...." This reminds me of that great passage in Acts 4:13: "[T]hey recognized that they had been with Jesus." Now I know that we can't "be with" Jesus in the same way the twelve apostles were. But, we do have the four Gospels that tell his story. When was the last time you sat down and read one straight through? When was the last time you read a Gospel and asked Jesus to make himself and his will known you? Why not spend some time being with Jesus this week!

My Prayer...

Holy Father, thank you for the Scriptures. Thank you especially for the Gospels that tell the story of your Son. Please forgive me for not spending more time getting to know him better. As I recommit myself to seek after your Son, please bless me with a genuine sense of his presence and a clearer knowledge of his will. In Jesus' holy name I pray. Amen.

Everyone but our lame stream media seems to know "why"?

BREAKING! Admiral Issues Dire Warning To America – “Why Would An American President Embrace The Muslim Brotherhood?” [VIDEO]
Posted by Bob Amoroso / March 11, 2016

That question no doubt as been asked (in various forms), perhaps a thousand times, and the speculations as to “why” is perhaps just as many. However one thing is certain Obama has no doubt “transformed America, and not for the good!

This time the question was asked by “Ace” Lyons” at a Counterjiad Panel at CPAC on March 3rd 2016, and for those not familiar with Admiral James “Ace” Lyons, he’s a retired Navy officer with over 36-years of service and was also Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, the largest single military command in the world.

He was also Deputy Chief of Naval Operations from 1983 to 1985, and was the principal adviser on all Joint Chiefs of Staff matters and was the father of the Navy Red Cell, an anti-terrorism group composed of Navy SEALs he established in response to the Marine Barracks bombing in Beirut.

The 21-minute video chronicles in stunning detail Admiral’s Lyons, initial statement as to “why” this president has embraced a terrorist organization, that was just taken off the “U.S Terrorist Watch List”, at the direction of this President, however is still considered my many (including Egypt) a terrorist group.

Admiral Lyons reminds us that regardless of Obama’s exit from the Oval Office he’s already appointed countless extreme thinking Muslims (within the Muslim Brotherhood), to key national security posts within our government, couple that with the continues open door policy of allowing undocumented Muslim refugees infiltrating into the country, and the question as to “why” almost answers itself!
Watch Admiral Lyons explain in his own words:

Verse of the Day for Tuesday March 15th, 2016:

"And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel." — Genesis 3:15

Thoughts on Today's Verse....

This is God's curse upon the serpent who tempted Eve and Adam to sin. Satan is the personality behind the serpent. Even in this curse, even in the recognition of a struggle between the woman's offspring and Satan, God embeds his promise for our better future. In Jesus, that future comes! Satan appears to win the battle at the Cross, but the passage of three days changes everything. Jesus' triumph over death leaves him with only a "bruised heel," but leaves Satan powerless to make death the final word. The Evil One's best plans and greatest power lie crushed at the doorway of Jesus' empty tomb!

My Prayer...

Thank you, dear Father, for taking the stinger out of death and establishing an assured hope for my future. Not only do I believe that Jesus rose from the dead, but I also believe you will also raise me up and bless me with life forever in your presence. For this enduring victory, I praise you in Jesus' name. Amen.
