I recall the first and last time I saw POtuS addressing congress.
I believe this was one of the first times for him. He was being addressed as Mr. President,
however in his better than thou, look down his nose, relaxed manner he addressed them by their first names!
I forget what he had to say to them, but the meaning was clear, Who's the BOY now!

The biggest lie that's been perpetuated over the last century: that the government creates our currency. Except for coins, which is but one-one-thousandth of the money-supply, the government does not issue money. Dollar Bills (federal reserve notes) are issued by the privately-owned and controlled Fed and distributes them in various ways to banks, which then lend them to the government, individuals and businesses at interest. Tangible currency (coins and dollar bills) together make up less than 3 percent of the US money-supply. The other 97 percent exists only as data on computer screens, and all of this money was created by banks in the form of loans. The money that banks lend is not recycled from pre-existing deposits. It is new money, which did not exist until it was lent.
That the majority of the populace still believes the lie that our national currency is issued by the government is one of the greatest whoppers of all time. This is why it's so easy for the national debt to be used as a political bludgeon against the citizenry. The reality of this debt-based pyramid-scheme ensures that only the interest gets paid, while the principal continues to grow, as there is never enough money in circulation to cover both the principal and the interest. This is by design. The national debt IS the money-supply; we are in debt for something we have the sovereign right to create ourselves.
