Thanks Linda! Although I haven't been posting that long (though there are a few), I've been lurking and reading for quite some time. Funny thing is, when I first stumbled upon this site I had the idea I could try and figure out what makes liberals tick so I could try to see both sides. Sadly however, the more I read from liberals, the more I distrust them. We "conservatives" certainly aren't perfect, but at least we hold each other accountable. Liberals on the other hand seem to not even understand the concept.
BTW, I must say, your own eloquence and grace around here is not only to be commended, but is downright inspirational!

Aren't you the defensive one. On OPP, I never claimed superiority in anything but Flamenco dance. Do you wish to debate that point?
My comment on "salon" was for general information as your initial definition proved to be insufficient. Had you included the definition I inserted? Taken in that light, you had no cause to attack.

I was under the impression Salon.com took its name from the hairdresser definition. Where gossip and bullshit reign while getting your perm. Like the old barbershop.

The next time you think you are making a "point," be certain you also include the use of the word as it relates to an internal combustion engine's ignition system. Merely conveying the definition that applies to the subject matter is an incomplete definition, typical of the cherry-picking most insincere posters, (especially those lacking the wit to form a more cogent and appropriate response ) would employ.
Would you like me to also provide the complete definition of cherry-picking, or are you able to comprehend that in this case it has nothing to do with the procurement of food?
