And who has a need to protect the petrodollar? The NWO that consists of many of the world's tycoons and moguls, financiers, bankers, politicians, manufacturers, media hierarchy, some royalty; anyone who is filthy rich and has an overpowering need/desire to control the world and all its inhabitants. They are the ones bent on removing the world's "worthless eaters", and reducing the population size to one which can and will service the "masters" by producing food and enough goods, in exchange for the right to live a little longer. Careful perusal will reveal the parameters within which they work to take control of the whole pie. Manipulation of the Fed and control of our dollar are currently getting much attention and when they desire to replace the dollar as the world's reserve currency, it will happen and we will be plunged into a new dark age.
