I see evidence that Putin is intent on being the worldly commander. He wants to make Russia a lot more powerful than it is today. The fastest way to do that is to grow the Russian land area and envelop hundreds of millions of additional citizens via conquest or partnership. Today, Russia has half the population of US and is way behind in it's industrial complex. Obammie scolded Romney in 2010, ridiculing him, "The Cold War has been over 20 years." Romney said, "Russia is the greatest security threat to the US. He is right and obamme is wrong. And all you friggin libturds are wrong too. And I don't give a damn if my spennin is outa whak. Well, well, well.
You are the one who has claimed to have had in-person conversations with Obama, and that he'd told you all of his plans and intentions. You agreed with me that some folks would wonder about your so-called personal relationship with the president, and would ask you about it. You said you'd think it over and get back to me....this was a couple months ago, I believe....remember?
Now you're back saying you've spoken to Putin on some intimate level.. Wow, you must be really well-connected. Do you work for the government? Or are you a businessperson with access to heads-of-state? Oh, right, you can't say (spy!), but you can come on OPP and discuss it?
I'm sure you're gritting your teeth about now, since in the past you would often get hostile and defensive in response to my queries, as if you're above answering questions about yourself. Sorry, dear, but you are a curiousity- and the only one on this site who claims to speak directly to heads-of-state. Naturally I find this interesting, if not suspicious. Maybe you can clear that up a little(without the hostility this time?)

I heard Charles Payne on some Fox News program this morning refer to the Ovomit-induced destruction in Syria as a "feckless policy that created a vacuum." The most euphemistically euphemism in the history of mankind!

He would be right!!

Obama gave up on the this whole Middle East situation before he "ever got started in it"...He continues to refuse to do so, I believe, because it fits "his agenda"..

He repeatedly refused to engage in the Syrian situation, at all or deal with ISIS, considering them "a nuisance" rather than what we see of then now and their plight.... The situation has grown tremendously, and the Russians have now taken advantage of the power vacuum left by Obama's incompetency...

Russia has its own radical Islam problem, as well... Many Chechens have gone down to Syria to fight the Assad regime and, with their training, will return to fight the Russians more aggressively. Vladimir Putin has a real interest in fighting them in Syria now and not waiting for them to advance in land mass or number...

Too bad the POS in office didn't have the basic common sense needed to see this before.......

Yes, it is a feckless policy that created a vacuum, but more accurately it is the Ovomit -induced destruction of Syria and the destabilization of the entire Middle East.

I'm sure this comes as no surprise either..I'm beginning to warm up to Trumps idea of letting the Russians......and now the Chinese have the M.E. It has long been apparent that the domestic terrorist clowns Obama and Kerry have only thrown fuel on the fire and been a disaster for the entire region!!!

These clowns have no intention of "winning" any wars on terrorism. Hell, they can't even say the word let alone Islamist terrorist.

Chinese warplanes to join Russian air strikes in Syria.

On Friday, Sept. 25, the Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning-CV-16 docked at the Syrian port of Tartus, accompanied by a guided missile cruiser.

China sent word to Moscow Friday, Oct. 2, that J-15 fighter bombers would shortly join the Russian air campaign that was launched Wednesday, Sept. 30. Baghdad has moreover offered Moscow an air base for targeting the Islamic State now occupying large swathes of Iraqi territory.

Russia’s military intervention in Syria has five additional participants: China, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Hizballah.

Baghdad and Moscow have just concluded a deal for the Russian air force to start using the Al Taqaddum Air Base at Habbaniyah, 74 km west of Baghdad, both as a way station for the Russian air corridor to Syria and as a launching-pad for bombing missions against ISIS forces and infrastructure in northern Iraq and northern Syria. This will be a landmark event for Beijing: its first military operation in the Middle East as well the carrier’s first taste of action in conditions of real combat.

My point? A bad witch is bad. That would mean you're no good. You wouldn't want anyone to make that assumption, would you now?

Appears as if even the Chinese believe America, Europe and the UN have dropped the ball. And I agree.

I have said elsewhere that the world needs a leader. America is incapable of leading, Europe is still just too full of itself, and the UN is corrupt and inefficient, regurgitating Obamaisms and the conceited policies of the EU.

Russia is the leader for today. And it must be; otherwise the world will descend into violent anarchy, perhaps similar to that seen in Europe prior to World War I. At that time, there was no acknowledged leader, either. Just alliances and ententes.

But is he correct about Putin's motives? Has he even bothered to ask? Is he a coward?

Rubio either has no knowledge of Middle Eastern history or Middle Eastern culture if he believes that an American type of democracy (I call it Americanism) can always work in that area. Or, if he is anti-Russia simply because of his Cuban background, he is sadly misinformed on current events.

Marco, there is one thing you CAN do---ask Putin what he is doing. Can you overcome your American arrogance in order to do that? Trump did.

Whether Rubio is correct about Putin's 'motives' wasn't my point, my point was that he correctly predicted Putin's 'actions'. With this accurate prediction, it would seem Rubio is not "so sadly misinformed on current events" . And why would it be incumbent upon on Rubio to ask what Putin's motives are? Isn't that obama's job to do? Or, is obama the coward?

Also, I can't help but ask; you say you've turned your back on America. Your comments, at least for me, suggest that you are not from America; am I wrong about this?
