Rufus, sorry you are so disillusioned about slavery, but both George Washington and Thomas Jefferson owned slaves before and AFTER the Civil War. Look it up...... Better yet have your mom look it up for you.

I googled it. GW died in 1799. Are you sayin GW owned slaves after his death? I am sorry but you talk so informatively but are so incorrect in your presentation. GW freed his slaves after his death as I recall. The Civil War ended in 1865. I think if I were you I would apologize for the mispresentation.
