And .. as far as eating anything's genitals... no. That is just wrong. I confess I am more vegetarian than not.. but I draw the line at eating various animal organs, and I don't care what they taste like.

Well that graphic of the giant tarantula didn't help! I'm going to have nightmares.

Spiders are have been menacing me since I was little. I blame my aunt who used to call me Little Miss Muffet. Little did she know it ended up being like a curse :|

There is an abundance of food choices in this country that people should not have to resort to eating the icky organs of animals.

I saw that 'bizarre foods' show one night and I could not believe what some people will eat. Animal brains, genitals, eyeballs, and half-formed (cooked?) baby chicks inside eggs... really?

Made me just about want to become vegan.

I certainly don't want to add to your fears. I love old science fiction movies. The idea of spiders crawling out of the ground doesn't appeal to me either. But the idea of rats coming up in the toilet bothers me more. But don't think about that.

I'd be less fearful of a rats coming up through the bathroom pipes although maybe in the city that might be more likely, although I did read where a live snake ended up in someone's toilet. Hmm.....

It's just not safe anywhere!
