Then you are well on your way. The black guy at WalMart showed commendable restraint. Tell me something, given the fact that in the last 20 years, the US population has increased by 40 million, and given the fact that in the last 20 years more than 11 million concealed carry permits have been issued, how do you explain the 50% decrease in homicides? In 1995, when concealed carry was rare, there were literally twice as many murders as there were last year, in spite of there being 40 million fewer people. Problematic for you, isn't it?

Crime has gone down nationally in all categories. You can not attribute that to concealed carry.

The perception that black men are armed when they are not has been covered in several studies.

A Cop I know told me:

We just had a shooting here in Tulsa. After Bates ( Volunteer's Deputy sheriff age 73)shot the man, unarmed,running away, two other cops jumped him. One had his knee on the downed mans neck.
I think they were the ones tgst killed him... They realized he was down and shot...
Many are 'thugs, have a shiney badge and gun and love the excitement and adrelin rush.

I was referring to the conspicuous absence of the "bloodbath" predicted by oh so many anti-gun Liberals. Kind of took the wind out of their sails when the opposite occurred, didn't it? You are the one who said, in essence, that "more guns equals more crime," just a few sentences ago.
I was curious to hear your explanation of the "more guns, less crime" scenario that has ACTUALLY happened. Could it be attributed to the influx of all those "law-abiding illegal immigrants" maybe?

My son, being a 23-year veteran police officer in a big city where this type of training was also forced on them, would agree with you. Morale since has gone down the tubes, and they're having difficulty in not only obtaining new recruits, but quality recruits. As my son says "beware of what you ask for."

The point made by your son is indeed valid in more ways than not. The political pandering to privileged classes created by the politicians, and the assault upon lawful and constitutional law enforcement that directly results from it, has motivated a good many of our best officers to retire or otherwise leave police work rather than put up with what amounts to the encouragement of criminal conduct. It also serves to attract those most apt to be abusive of their trust while discouraging those not so inclined. Unfortunately, this is not some coincidence or accident.

Yes that one is mine, meaning that cops don't know who is armed, those legal guns get stolen or taken. Some people have arsenals or more fire power than the cops. It makes for a very scary situation.

The people who have "arsenals" are almost never a problem. In Texas, 2013, there were 497 convictions for murder/ manslaughter. One of them was a CCP holder.
In my state of GA, more than 600.000 permits have been issued. About one hundred have been convicted of a firearms crime.
You say it is scary, you claim there are too many guns, yet, people with CCPs account for a tiny fraction of one percent of murder and manslaughter convictions. Nationwide, literally less than one in a thousand.

If guns scare you, go find a place where you aren't afraid any more. I can't imagine a reason why a sane person would be afraid of an inanimate object. Why aren't you afraid of automobiles? They kill more than three times as many people, most indiscriminately, as do guns. Of course, you have to have the insane belief that either guns or cars act on their own in order for fear of either makes any sense. Here's something that IS very scary! It really appears like living in the United States has become an adventure in life in the world's largest insane asylum.
