Mans best friend.
Got a YorkiePoo 5#(Toto) and Miniature snauzer,(Ollie) solid white. Well, wife does.
I prefer "Aussies" ( Australian Shepherds)
Really is a hard one. I've had purebreds, mixes, large dogs, small dogs. Too hard to choose, their personalities all so different, and equally cherished, so guess I'd have to say my favorite is one who loves me back, and thus far that's been unconditional....

NOT at my house. They coexist rather nicely....but to each their own....short of the chewy toy principle.
Golden Retrievers are my choice,,,,,

It has been found people who hate cats have those feelings due to disliking cats independent nature. Hmm.....

I have a 2 yr old Havanese. Got her at 10 wks. She's perfect. What can I say ? Bit of a brat but a real smarty. This is an old picture of her with her coat short. Grown out she has quite the long one. My bud.
I have friends in LA with 2 white Havanese. They are the cutest and sweetest dogs. I hope to have a dog again one day, and if I opt for a small one, a Havanese is in the running.

Just my opinion, but God created few perfect dogs.... one is the Newfoundland..... Gentle giants who love children and will give up their lives for a child... once they were nicked named the Mother Teresa dog.... But, you have to have a very large area for them to run.... lots of energy to keep up with them....and there is the drool factor. I had one in my life and he could never be replaced. I have had other dogs, but all fall short of Crabby... a funny name for so much love! But, I was just a kid and found opposite names so much fun. I also had a cat named pup and a bird named kitty. Yes, I was strange even then!

Penny, if a person isn't a little different, or a little crazy - It must be hard for them to make it through life!
I had an old Boston Bull Dog named Henry. We were at the in-laws, and they let him out. when they called, he wasn't around, so here they are going up and down the street (about 8PM) calling HENRY. The lived in a residential area, and they may have had their neighbors wondering!!! Henry did come - finally.
Also, Henry could pass gas the literally would wake you from a sound sleep.
Right now, I have an Akita named Bear. He's loving, loyal, but independent. He's my dog.
