I'm sure that you're quite proficient at it.

I'm familiar with who the God of the Bible and Allah are.

Joshua 24:1-2
1 Then Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem and called for the elders of Israel, for their heads, for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God.
2 And Joshua said to all the people, "Thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'Your fathers, including Terah, the father of Abraham and the father of Nahor, dwelt on the other side of the River in old times; and they served other gods.

The city of Ur, where Terah and Abraham originated from, was the chief center of the worship of Sin, the moon god, which was designated by the crescent moon, the symbol of Islam. This may very well have been the origin of Allah (Sin) falsely being called the god of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as Islam did not come into being until the 7th century.

Abraham, through faith, went on to worship the LORD God of Israel.

A vital difference between the Islamic and Christian views of God is the biblical concept of the Trinity. In the Bible, God has revealed Himself as one God in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. While each Person of the Trinity is fully God, God is not three gods but three in one.

God’s Son came in the form of man, a truth called the incarnation (Luke 1:30-35; John 1:14; Colossians 2:9; 1 John 4:1-3). The Lord Jesus Christ conquered the penalty and power of sin by dying on the cross (Romans 6:23). After rising from the dead, Jesus went back to heaven to be with His Father and sent the Holy Spirit to believers (Acts 1:8-11). One day, Christ will return to judge and rule (Acts 10:42, 43). Those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus will live with Him, but those who refuse to follow Him must be separated in hell from the holy God.

“The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him” (John 3:35-36). Either Jesus bears the wrath of God for your sin on the cross or you bear the wrath of God for your sin in hell (1 Peter 2:24).

The Trinity is essential to the Christian faith. Without the Trinity, there would be no incarnation of God’s Son in the Person of Jesus Christ. Without Jesus Christ, there would be no salvation from sin. Without salvation, sin would condemn all to an eternal hell.

So, do Christians and Muslims worship the same God? A better question is, “Do Christians and Muslims both have a correct understanding of who God is?” To this question, the answer is definitely no. Because of crucial differences between the Christian and Muslim concepts of God, the two faiths cannot both be true. The biblical God alone addresses and solves the problem of sin by giving His Son.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son” (John 3:16-18).

This is an excellent explanation of the difference... (show quote)
There are only three monotheistic religions on earth - Judaism, Christianity, and Islam -
all of which descend from Abraham.
They are sometimes referred to as the "Abrahamic Religions".

The rest of the world's religions are either polytheistic or pagan.

If God is an infinite, creative intelligence, a boundless, timeless being, a being without blemish - The Creator of this universe - then there can be no other God.

Of the Abrahamic Religions, Islam stands apart from the other two.

Islam is the result of one man's visions - angelic visitations similar to those of Joseph Smith who founded Mormonism -
Ostensibly, the angel Gabriel delivered Allah's message to Mohammad.
IOW, Islam was born from the experiences of one man in less than his lifetime.
Notably, according to Islamic doctrine, Mohammad was divinely inspired to preach and confirm the monotheistic teachings of Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and other prophets.

Judaism is the result of Yahweh Himself revealing Himself in Spirit and bringing His message to men.
God's message was then brought forward through the centuries by the prophets, kings, priests, soldiers and singers.

The Holy Bible is scripture encompassing nearly 20 centuries;
The Qur'an emerged in its entirety over a period of 15 years.

Christianity is the result of Yahweh (Yashua) revealing Himself in the flesh and delivering His message in person.

In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God . . . .

and the Word was made flesh,
and dwelt among us . . . .

John 1

There is only one God, His unpronounceable name - which He revealed to Moses - is

Then you are in no position to explain how Muslims think...

Projecting your views on a religion you are ignorant of does not make you an authority...

Oh. I thought they celebrated death to infidels when killing westerners, and thought it was ok to rape western women, because they're infidels and therefore not quite human.

No... Although there are extremists who may do these things...

In Islam, both Christians and Jews are supposed to be treated as believers... Haram to murder or enslave them...

That's why in the 1400 years of Islamic history there have always been Christians and Jews throughout the ME and other Muslim controlled areas... Indeed, there were times when Jews fled Christian controlled Europe and found safe haven in Muslim controlled nations...

Islam makes a distinction between those who follow Allah and everyone else who do not,
regardless of whether or not they are religious -
Muslim vs Non-Muslim.

Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, atheists, agnostics,
doesn't matter, If you do not accept Allah and his Oneness, you are an infidel.

Thank you, reverend,
please tell us how Muslims think,
and, in projecting views on a religion,
practice what you preach.
