The federal government has conspired with a privately owned social network giant - Facebook - to establish their own ideas, their own facts, on what is and what is not credible information, and together they are researching ways in which to take an opinion or claim or a report they deem questionable and hold it up to their "fact checker". If it raises the red flag, it is banned.

IOW, A political party running the federal government has teamed up with one of its wealthiest supporters in the private sector to implement an official, federally mandated censorship and suppression of Free Speech.

IOW, a direct and unforgivable violation of our Right to Free Speech.

Same thing they are doing with all of our inalienable, God given rights.

Dude, censorship of any form is bad, but when government starts sponsoring it and tailoring it to chime with the gov party line, it becomes oppressive propaganda. IOW, they are stifling free speech. Much of what they want stifled are people opinions about the vaccines and even their questions about things related to the vaccines. If one even asks a question about the vaccine that sounds the least bit contrary, you become demonized and are censored.

Do you honestly think that is right? Then it gets applied to things like immigration voting and even economics. Add in today's technology and their ability to listen in and you have the makings for authoritarianism the likes of which might never have been seen. The can automatically compile listings of people and put them into groups who have certain views of certain things; all done automatically and by computer. It's most likely already begun.

Does this mean that a person who demonstrably became ill from the vaccine, who was hospitalized, treated and recovered, could not opine on the perils of the vaccine on social media? Could not factually relate his/her actual experience? How about if a disclaimer was offered by the writer stipulating that he/she realizes he/she is in the minority of vaccinated persons to become ill, and that the vast majority who get vaccinated suffer no debilitating after effects?
Would that pass muster?
This whole notion of the administration flagging self-defined "misinfomation" and "bringing it to the attention" of Facebook so Facebook could unilaterally determine its merit and suitability for publication on its private forum is the very definition of the slippery slope. SCOTUS, take heed.
