1) Some on OPP are denying that this was a coup attempt.... Was it a coup attempt?

Reply~~ I do not believe a coup attempt, I do believe it was with some in attendance to be a mission of violence to scare either the left or right depending on who organized what... How did they succeed getting in, know what specific floors to go to and specific offices to enter?? Why do we have videos of capital hill police opening gated areas and allowing people in?
And pipe bombs that were planted outside both the Democratic and Republican National Committee headquarters, not swept or secured before the biggest event of the election?? With all senators and Congress the VP in attendance??
Then the other glaring issue~~? That threat of a plane hitting the Capitol?? WTH

Was foreign or domestic agents helped to trigger or enact an existing plan??? Is it conspiracy?? Investigators are considering whether a Monday breach of an air traffic control radio frequency should be looked at in connection to Thursday's events. In the radio breach, a recorded message threatened to fly an airplane into the Capitol on Wednesday. The digitized voice said that the strike would be in retaliation for last January's U.S. drone attack that killed Iranian Quds Force commander Qasem Soleimani.
So much more. Cubbie, and way too much to answer right now..

2) I was going to ask the same question replacing "coup attempt" with the word "insurrection", but if you look up the definition of the word insurrection, it is obvious that it was definitely an insurrection so, never mind #2.

Reply ~~ how about sedition?? Yes, to a certain degree I think this could be...And Trump along with any number from either side are guilty of the hype...

3) Did trump instigate/encourage what happened yesterday?

Reply~Yes, I think to a certain degree yes he did. Although he’s never been known for using proper language in anything it may not have been his intent to encourage any such action but it certainly didn’t help anything either... If he withheld orders to bring in the National guard this was Absolutely and unequivocally wrong..He should not have had been asked to do so he should’ve already done it and he certainly shouldn’t have denied it.

4) Could trump have discouraged his followers from engaging in violence well ahead of yesterday, had he wanted to?

Reply~~ Yes he could have and should have. In his speeches he should’ve made it clear he did not want any violence in any capacity and should’ve been strong when he did speak out leaving out the rhetoric on the stolen election. Everyone there knew why they were there and everyone not there knew why they were there he should’ve merely said stop, go home, leave in peace etc.

5) Do you think that what happened is what trump was hoping would happen?

Reply~~ I would be lying to tell you that that same question hadn’t crossed my mind. All I can say is I can’t answer for him, I can only answer for me and that is that I sincerely hope with my entire soul that he would not be thinking such. I do not yet have a definitive answer for that.

As for photography, a hobbie only and my Nikon D850 frame CMOS image sensor with 45.7 megapixels... It does all the work.. I position, focus and click away.. Change depths and fluidity is about all.. Really.. The megapixels bring it!!! But I do love photography for sure, so that helps... 😊

Thanks so much for the thoughtful reply LJ. I liked it. You bring up stuff I haven't even thought about. Hadn't heard the plane stuff either. I swear, I think I've learned more from you and dtucker300 in one year than I learned in 14-1/2 years in school lol.

Nikon D850 is badass but you are modest. The camera doesn't shoot the photos, the photographer does. Asking a great photographer what kind of camera they use is akin to asking a world-class pianist what kind of piano they play. Not foolin' me.... much thought was put into subject, composition, exposure, lighting, timing, etc. in every single photo I've seen you post.
