If the Tea Party wants to win elections they would do well to emulate Congressman Davey Crocket of Tennessee who plied his electorate with fresh corn liquor and dried T-Backey.

Almost 150 years ago the GOP chartered trains, called "the cars" at the time. The cars job was to carry voters from the state line as far as the cars could travel in 12 hours, but still allowing time for the train riders to disembark and vote in every whistle stop and town.

As a condition of continued employment the Yellow Dog Democrats required every public employee and their family members to hold their filled in paper ballot up to an exterior window in the polling place. This was so that the local powers that be could sleep at night, knowing that every school teacher, jailor, janitor, clerk and garbage man voted 'correctly'.

If the Tea Party wants to win elections then they better learn how to beg, borrow, and steal votes themselves.

The TP doesn't want to emulate the Democrats.

Here's video done by Andrew Napolitano shortly before he was fired by Fox. It explains our conundrum with breathtaking clarity! I urge you all to watch it if you haven't already seen it. If you've seen it, watch it again!

I didn't realize that he had been let go by FOX news. This is truly sad. I pretty much stopped watching Fox since the 2012 elections. But that said Judge Napolitano is right on and has my vote that is for sure. Judge Jeanine Pirro better mind her P's and Q's or she may be next as well. I do appreciate those that do speak out on our behalf though.

Yea OG, I know in politics that winning isn't everything it's everything . The Democrat Party are winners and God forbid that the Tea Party would ever emulate the Democrat Party by nominating candidates capable of winning elections. Whining not winning is all that's in the TP's DNA.

Conversely, God forbid that the Tea Party would ever compromise by voting for a so called RINO candidate that the Tea Party only agreed with 101% of the time. Therefor the Tea Party is unsuited as well as disqualified in my opinion from voting in GOP primaries.

Here is a little aside and small prediction.

In the run up to the 2012 elections Mike Huckabee's daughter got hitched. The girl married a big time political consultant. Political consultants traditionally charge a 45% commission when placing electronic media ads on behalf of their political clients.

I don't have any insider information but my feeling on the matter is that Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee is going to finish off the various Tea Parties in 2016 by channeling their dreams and dollars to his daughter as a belated wedding present.

I just saw him on FNC being interviewed by, I think, Jenna Lee. He evidently hasn't been banned from appearing on FNC. That is the only place I have ever seen him.

Hopefully we can begin to elect people who are more principled than that. I've heard a couple of other people say what you just said, and while pragmatic, it sure doesn't sit well with me. :|

He still appears, just not in the capacity he once did. He really honked off the Establishment.

So let me see if I have this right Kay. What you are saying is that all political races should be decided and awarded to the most dirty and underhanded candidate in that particular race. You apparently want a no holds bared slug fest to the bitter end and he who has the most money, connections, dirty scoundrels on the payroll, can afford the most executions of the competition, and can basically throw the most dirt and lies upon his competition should by all means win the race as the most competent of the candidates, right? Meanwhile an honest individual who wants to run a contest on policies and do it fairly in an open and above board manner is in your opinion a loser and should never be elected to any public office whatsoever because he doesn't roll around in the mud like the democrats do, right?

That's what I heard. Hopefully there are still people who think that eventually truth and honesty will pay off.

The loss that the conservatives had from the run off was because the RINO's pulled one over on us, essentially giving the finger to conservatives.
The conservatives had voted and would had won that race had the Rino's not demonized the Tea Party with flyers and Robo calls...a play right out of the Democrats play book.

My question is where do we go from here?

Mississippi tells us that it is in the top ten of the most religious, depressed, poorest, and dumbest states in America. What does that tell you?
