American Flag Protocol?

Is the small American flag tucked insecurely behind the picture frame below and to the left of it technically flying at half mast in deference to the huge, permanently affixed grotesque desecration of itself?

I'm not interested, myself, in discussing the rest of the video contents, here. I support law and order and respect uniformed officers of the peace. I merely included it as a reference point for further info. If there is interest in discussing that, perhaps establish a separate thread? Or just do OPP....

But my interest now is regarding flag protocol.

Ill be looking this over for the next half hour or so.....

Recalling some posters may not have access, here in part is what I read....

DISPLAYING THE AMERICAN FLAG ALONGSIDE OTHER FLAGS:
In the United States, no other flag should be placed above the American flag or, if they are to be placed on the same level, to the right of the American flag.

The United Nations flag may not be displayed above or in a position of superior prominence to the United States flag except at United Nations Headquarters.

The flag, when displayed with another against a wall—both from crossed staffs—should be on the right (the flag’s own right), and its staff should be in front of the other staff.

The American flag should be at the center and the highest point when displayed with a group of state flags.

When flags of states, cities, etc., are flown on the same halyard, the American flag should be at the peak.

When flags of two or more nations are displayed, they are to be flown from separate staffs of the same height, and the American flag should be hoisted first and lowered last.

Flag protocol has gone down into the mud they allow people to step on it burn it urinate on it etc. Its considered hate speech now. In my day it was an honor to be picked to raise and lower the flag at school you were taught how to fold it to honor it none of that happens any more this is also part of the dems to take away the meaning and respect for the flag of the nation same with prayer making it easier to promote control. About the only ones who even bother with the protocol is SOME American civilians police military and ROTC

I've just learned that some police officers in Texas are allowed discretion to use this symbol of desecration on their patrol cars and wear it on their uniforms.

I sympathize with their support of police officers who were murdered in the line of duty. But.... no!

Where are the Colin Kapernik (sp?) detractors on this issue?

I am aware of some of that but my point was regarding his perceived disrespect of the American Flag and Anthem.

Are you lumping those who display the black and white and blue line flag with HIM?

There seems to be a tangential point of connection here, but...

this whole issue seems really confusing.

How can you take an American flag and make a lapel pin out of it? The point about clothing is not that making clothes which have stars and stripes prominently displayed is wrong. It is that taking an actual American flag and using it for material to make clothes out of is wrong. Wearing images or icons representing American flags is patriotic. Wearing the actual American flag is not!
